Man, am I done with Floyd, Lynch, and Prince. Those three need to be gone next year. They are huge holes in our defense. Floyd can't do anything across Khalil Mack, which is borderline criminal for a top 10 pick. He has 3 sacks, 3 TFL, and 0 PD. He only had 4 sacks last year and only 4.5 two years ago. So in his last 38 games, Floyd has 11.5 sacks. That is not enough for the money he is expected to get, even on the 5th year option. He is not worth that much money. Lynch is a lazy and undisciplined player. He was late on the field for a play and just stood there, and had another penalty, and now has 5 on the season. Miller's numbers between last year and this year are fairly comparable, except for one huge hole, TDs. Miller caught 7 TDs in 15 games last year, and thru 12, has yet to catch one. In other words he is due. I would not be surprised if he gets 2-3 in the next 4 games or has one of those Gabriel games where he gets 3. 2018 - 33-423, 7 TD 2019 - 38-489, 0 TD He has a chance at 50+ receptions and over 600 yards. Miller has an interesting comp with Antonio Brown, both around the same size, Brown's two year totals were 85-1275, 2 TDs. So Miller would need 362 yards (91 per game) to match Brown after year two. Both CAR and PHI lost, which puts both of them at 6-7. So the only teams ahead of the Bears for WC2 are the Rams and Vikings. The Rams are beating the Cardinals early and the Vikings play in Seattle on MNF. If Seattle can beat Minnesota tomorrow night, we would essentially be 1 game back with 3 to play (before our head to head....which is a must win). All we need to do is beat the Vikings in Week 17 and come into the game no more than 1 game back. If Seattle wins, this scenario is definitely possible.

So in the last 3 games, Roquan has 30 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 INT, and 1 PD. This is an All-Pro stat line. This corresponds with the 3 games that Trevathan has missed. Roquan has really stepped up. The storyline is going to get interesting this week as some speculation earlier in the season was that Roquan was having some issues with the Bears throwback jerseys. Well, this upcoming week, the Bears will go back to those throwbacks, so we will see if we can rule that out once and for all. Hopefully we do. Ok, you saw the title and rolled your eyes and sighed, thinking "didn't we say this about another guy?", lol! Let me start by asking, has Trubisky had a clean pocket all year? Has he had a running game all year? Has he had a TE all year? Nagy added to the complexity of the game plan without the benefit of crucial components and work in pre season games. Here's what I think he needs: 1) new OC, someone who understands running game and play action. Trubisky has shown good accuracy on throws under 20. It was interesting to see that Jordan Howard has not played since the Bears game several weeks ago. Also, looking at his stats, he is actually on pace for less yards per game on the ground, less targets, receptions, and receiving yards than he had with the Bears. I was actually surprised to see this. Remember, one of the big storylines for him this offseason was how he was going to be more involved in the passing game in Philly, which just hasn't happened. He will more than likely end the season with career lows in rushing attempts, yards, Y/G, targets, receptions, and receiving yards. Just like some of the other position groups (O-Line and TE), I think we need a purge at this position. Keep ARob, but get rid of Gabriel and Miller via trade or just outright cut. Miller seems to have discipline issues, doesn't run the correct routes, is often out of position at the LOS, and seems to generally have a bad attitude. For a 2nd round pick that we traded up for, we should expect more. What is even worse about the Miller pick (and trade up), we could've selected DJ Chark or Michael Gallup, both were available at #51. Just seeing the effort from the O-Line and then the receivers on the scramble drills (or lack of effort), is it possible that some of these guys are purposely half-assing it to undermine Trubisky? We're all thinking it, trying to figure out how to fix the team going forward. There are a few obvious plans. One possibility is that they'll fire Pace and let the new GM clean house in every way. This isn't a bad idea at all, and it's probably the most likely one. If you think there is nothing redeemable here, then you're starting over from scratch. It is amazing the money the Bears have shelled out for what has been considered a complete lack of effort and discipline with regression and disappointment throughout the roster. Check out the top 10 contracts (in terms of overall value): 1. Mack (141M), the highest paid defensive player in football, gets his huge contract and has been a huge disappointment this year for the money. He had no stats against the Rams. Had 43 yards rushing today on 6 carries. Montgomery had 22 yards on 13 carries. I can't believe we lost him for nothing because we didn't bring him up and put Trevathan on IR.

So now that the season is prematurely over, what next? There were two moments in last nights game that made me go ?!?!. One was the declined penalty for ‘running into the kicker’ against LA. And the shit Nagy pulled late in the game when he pulled Trubiksy. Was he injured like you claim he was or ???? If in fact he was injured as you claim, and he ‘wasn’t right’ throughout the game; why then? And to put Miller in that situation ... just all around pathetic. To be a Bears fan is tough enough but to have to air the mess that is our current team on national TV is purely disgraceful.

Trade every player not on a rookie deal outside of ARob. I would put Turdbisky on IR and would even consider firing Nagy. Let Pagano take over and bring Vic back as DC.
