The Bears last national embarrassment game of the season. Short week, the only advantage is Seattle is playing right now in Seattle against Minnesota. So they are going to have a short week and have to travel. With Seattle expected to lose to Minnesota and already down by 10, they have to win out to even have a chance to make the playoffs. So for them, it is a must win. The Bears have only pride to play for, and based on recent weeks, I don't know if that is enough. I am going with Seattle 27 - Bears 23. I revised my prediction score. I think both teams score 3 TDs, but SEA also gets 2x FGs.

Caleb was on the St Brown Brothers podcast. He said he wants a leader of men, offensive guru and someone that matches his aggressive nature. Near the end he all but said he wanted Ben.

Bears trade back 9 spots to pick up an early 5th. Bad trade value for Bears there. 9 spots that early is worth a mid 4th, should have gotten a 5th and 6th for that move. Poles underwhelming me today.

With Allen coming here we are now in play for drafting BPA. That could be many different positions to go for. Donald and Jerrigan are still in play. We have a 32 year old Ratliff as our best DT, enough said. Gilbert comes in to play. He brings a KR/PR skill that we have no totally addressed yet. Plus he is the highest rated CB. CJMosley will also be considered. With a one and done Williams our main squeeze at MLB dont discount the potential to take this player. Offensive player? First off, let me just say this... I was pissed with Cutler's play this weekend too. And he has to get goddamn better or we're not going anywhere this season. With that said... Statistically Cutler is still a top QB in this league. Question what you want about how he handles himself during interviews or when you see him on the sidelines in the few shots of him we're shown, whatever. Facts are borne out by numbers. There's certainly room for improvement and he's got to get his head outta his ass on various picks but they weren't all his errors either. Marshall hasn't been 100% and he quit on one last week. Didn't think it was possible that ownership would be smart enough to recognize this, but apparently the chatter has already started. Holmgren was pretty much a disaster with Cleveland though as their President of Football operations man, so I don't really like hearing his name. Still, hearing this is at least a step in the right direction if they have finally figured out that something like this needs to happen.

Giving away Marshall for a mere 5th RD pick means we want to move on now and we'll just about pay you to take our players and their big contracts away from us. This much cap space puts anyone in FA in play and this is the best FA year in a long time, maybe ever. If you are going to go all in like this to remake a roster now is definitely the time to do it.
