Ok, so I tried to obtain the current cap hits for 2013, project some other moves with estimated cap hits and I came up with this: http://www.pcgamingtech.net/bears/cap.htm Unless I am totally off, we would have 7 roster spots to fill and have spent around 123M. With the cap being around 121, and with us having around 3M carried over from last year, we should have around 124M to spend. With the rookie pool needing to be around 5M, it is hard to see us getting to 116-119M before the draft with only the rookies left to sign. How about grabbing the center from the Saints , but we would have to give up our 2nd round pick. That would give us the option and move Garza back to LG. Brown should be developed by the time Garza quits. Just a thought.

Not a ton of news...Theres a good chance we draft a QB at some point. There are already teams wanting to trade up with us supposedly. They're still looking at Izzy and others to sign to the roster. They supposedly like Garza at OC. He was disappointed with the arrest of ERod.
