Disagree. If he comes out weak in the regular season, I think rapidly he'll lose playing time. The fanbase and the media already don't trust him, if he comes out dropsy it's going to be really hard to see how the coaches can defend him.

I don't see why worrying about a guy who drops a couple passes in preseason is a mistake when he's got a history and reputation for being dropsy. Just like I don't know why watching to see how the O-Line performs in preseason is a mistake when they were the weakest link for the team last year. Pretending it's all said and done and no one can possibly improve is a mistake obviously, but there's nothing wrong with pointing out the things that need to improve for success to be possible.

I actually don't mind Omifail as the backup tackle. Backup tackles aren't supposed to be very good. He's versatile and has been in this system for 1+ years now.

If you can get a 6th for him, take it and be happy.

I'm not quite sure that either side, especially round 1985, really understood the risks of repeated head impacts. And yes, if the NFL acted in good faith, that might well deal with this.

Sometimes though, it takes getting beat by a guy doing something unexpected to really get you going. Hopefully that happened here.
