I see 2 thing happening... 1. He retires 2. He says he's going to just train...and waits for a call after some team with a legit shot at a SB this season has an MLB go down with an injury in camp, pre-season, or early regular season game. He then jumps on for one last ride somewhere...

...couldn't resist. April fools...- Bears sign Matt Slauson
I imagine this is round 1... I see him and Cliff re-doing a lot of these through the year.- James Anderson signed
Plus, we'd all do it for cheap!- Hayden to be brought back
Agreed.- James Anderson signed
I damn well guarantee the box would have been checked with our collective. I'm a controller and that does not happen on my watch. I do also think that our collective mind here could probably equal our GMs. I don't think better or worse. But could equal over the course of time. I hope I am wrong on Emery and he outfoxes the lot of us.- Urlacher
I see that as resonable...- Urlacher
I believe it is all 3. The question, is how each factor is weighed? I'm certain the heaviest weight is on age/ability, then on salary, then least on regime connection. But, that's just my speculation. Only Emery really knows...and he won't tell a soul.- James Anderson signed
I would appear so. Only time will tell fi the decisions are correct, but it seems to me that Emery is exceptionally decisive, moves fast, keeps things under wraps, and does not let sentimentalism hold him back. We may disagree with some of his moves, and be unhappy if theydon't pan out. But, it is clear that he is indeed "a man with a plan".- Goodbye to Urlacher
