  1. Agreed. Unless you swing a deal for a different guy (and I"m not seeing how any potential guy could be worth Cutler)...
  2. I went: 1. other - If they make the playoffs, I really need to see how it plays out. Even a run all the way to the SB and losing could still want me firing them. Also, losing in round 1, depending on how could make me re-think and want to keep. It just depends on what actually happens. But, per below...if they don't make the playoffs...guarantee oust. 2. Fire 3. Fire
  3. Great points all of you... It would appear it better to leave him out.
  4. Agreed. His attitude is good. That could rub off... And a real OC could use him somehow as you mention... But only as a 3 for cheap as you mentioned...
  5. As back-up only, I'm fine with Sanchez...but back-up only. No future there. Not worth the potential money though...
  6. OK. But it's still an upward tick at the end... Opposite of our trend. (And beating the Cards and Lions isn't the same as what NY has done...) Even their loss to NE that first year showed serious game. Our losses are not so...
  7. Hell no. THe only intriguing name right now is Cousins...
  8. Great analysis Adam. Thanks for sharing.
  9. But didn't th opposite happen with the NYG? They started slow and ended hot... Big positive momentum towards the end. We're doing just the opposite. Not that it's not possible. It's just not probable.
  10. ...or Detroit, or Minny, or Miami, or Arizona, or Cleveland, or KC, or Oakland, or San Diego, or...

  12. I too am confused and await Alsaka's response... It is somehow OK for Url to be thankless to fans, but not OK for fans to be thankless of him (even though, thankless isn't correct...it's more angered by unwise comments)? Last I checked he got paid to play pro ball and fans don't get paid for being fans. In fact, they pay...
  13. Sounds like we just disagree... On the flip side, I love Cutler's persona. He's a total 100% jerk. However, he's never called out the fans. He probably feels that way I'm sure... The man reeks "don't care". But I think he's savvy enough to know that's just a wise thing to say unless you're trying to get a ticket out of town.
  14. Sadly, I think many a Bears fan is right there. It is a thought of short term vs long term... Many here and elsewhere are thinking long term...
  15. It's a double edged sword if ever there was one.
  16. Please forgive Alaska...he used a poor comparison. He's a good guy and meant no harm I assure you. Unlike Urlacher, I believe he will admit that that wasn't a wise thing to write... That analogy gets thrown around too much. It lessens the impact that folks like yourself have had and the things you've endured. I assure you that everyone here, and especially Alaska, are beyond thankful for your and all our countryman's service. It can never truly be repaid.
  17. Just seems convenient that media darling Packers catch all the breaks... ...and because they are good, they will get the benefit of the doubt. Until we can best them, it will continue to shake out that way over the long haul.
  18. 100%. This is a free country to say what you want. Everyone has that right. But everyone else has the right to think Url's a dumbass for saying it.
  19. Fair enough. But doesn't his comment still come off as dumb to you? He's also paid off commercials,etc...especially in the Chicago-land area. If sponsors feel fans don't like him, he'll lose that money. I'll tell you what I did, when I found out his mom died. I sent him a note of sympathy through the team. What did he do for me when my grandma passed away? That's a silly comparison as is the reference that he is a soldier. I cheer when he/the team does well. I boo when I see true failing. He can boo me, and tell me to F off. I can can do the same. He'll still laugh all the way to the bank. But if he continues this nonsense, sponsors will drop him and his revenue will decrease. I guess I'm confused what you're point is. First you love that it took guts for him to spew something dumb, then you say you will boo if bad... I guess I really don't follow. I get he's frustrated, but that doesn't mean he should be awarded for saying dumb things. Marshall was frustrated and said appropriate things. I prefer Marshall's passion over Urlacher's flippant remarks... But in the end, I don't really care other than what they do on the field. And this year, I have not booed Marshall. Nor Url. But I have booed just about everyone else barring a select few others like Tillman and Briggs.
