  1. Good to know. I was kidding...as he doesn't strike me as that kind of guy. Not a rocket scientist, but not a bad guy. I think you're 100% correct in your assessment.
  2. I'm just waiting to see how it plays out. Until we see the results these next one or two weeks, I'm really on hold. My gut tells me we miss the playoffs and the decision is easy...
  3. Sounds like the perfect Bears plan!
  4. Yup. This is what's commonly desclibed as "falling apart"
  5. ...and if he decked you, you'd be rich!
  6. C'mon, that isn't honorable. That's stupid on Url's part. It's honorable what Marshall said. He is asking for accountability. Just because someone does it publicly doesn't mean it's more honorable... What if Url proclaimed he doesn't like Irish people, or Indians, or Chinese? Is that honorable too just becasue he isn't afraid to say it? (Not saying he did...just using it as an example...)

    21. Going for it on 4th down. Saying it was a mistake. Then saying he'd do it again.
  9. Yup. This is like a Groundhog Day nightmare...
  10. The good teams get the calls.
  11. Seriously. Especially since he go to DET and MIN on a yearly basis to hear it... Maybe those concussions are taking a toll.
  12. No one ever called him smart... All good things must come to an end...

Add: 1. Failing on promise to beat the Packers 2. Failure to reign in coordinators until the game is over 3. Not having his players ready to play 4. Desiring athletes instead of football players 5. Pressure on GM to draft D needs in lieu of O
  14. I've soured on Cutler... His skill level and decision making reeks... I don't know what the alternative is... Maybe just dangle as trade bait... I don't know. I fear that he's outlasted his time here. Yuck. Can we start a fan union? Boycott all Bears related product. Attend the game and buy nothing in the stadium? Hurt the owners and management in the wallet somehow w/o losing that fact that we love our team. I don't know... I'm beyind a loss for words. I've passed being sad and angry...
  15. He cares. I love Marshall. Right now, he is with a doubt, a true Bear.
  16. Yup. Virginia's a nice old lady that likes nice coaches, etc. But professional football isn't about that. No Honey, no money...
  17. That seriously speak volumes. Good for your son. At least he has the intelligence not to be a GB fan! This is sad...
  18. Feeling' like Jay. Don't care. Just win. Let the rest settle itself out...
  19. Sadly, unless Peppers re-does his contract, it may be time to part ways. His impact has not been what it was... Age may have caught up. It'd imagine, barring something unusual, Emery wouldn't want to have so much money tied to so many aging players that aren't quite delivering what they've been used to..
  20. I can easily say with no doubt, that everyone here has the same senitments.
  21. Exactly... Saying we're better off with URL right now is just not correct. He's not what he was, but he's still better than anyone replacing him this season. next season, who knows...
  22. This season Cutler got the key to a Ferrari. However, with the OL, the tires are bald and have caused accidents. We need new tires before we can judge fully Cutler's driving ability...
  23. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/...y-hes-an-idiot/ Lance Briggs on Jermichael Finley: He’s an idiot Posted by Josh Alper on December 13, 2012, 1:36 PM EST Reuters Packers tight end Jermichael Finley’s thoughts on the absence of Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher have made their way to Chicago. Finley said that he thought the Bears defense might be better off with Urlacher sidelined by a hamstring injury. Bears linebacker Lance Briggs made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t think much of Finley’s thoughts about the unit. “He’s an idiot,” Briggs said, via Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times. “Just suit up and play ball. His comments aren’t going to change the outcome of the game, they’re not going to help him or anybody else play better. Doesn’t really matter.” In an effort to lower any tensions before that happens, Finley took to Twitter Thursday. “Urlacher is a hall of fame player and person. I meant no disrespect to him in previous comments, I was simply trying to explain that his replacement in the lineup is a good player as well,” Finley wrote. Assuming Briggs’ assessment doesn’t get Finley a job with the Jets, the two men should run into each other during Sunday’s game between the teams. It should be a fun one.
