Agreed. At this point, Forte appears to be a better WR than RB... We indeed have seen this movie before...

I watched the game with my folks and a good friend. All 4 of us wanted to FG. We pretty much were in agreement that if it were 4th and inches at the goal, then the risk is worth it. But, other than that, given the state of the game, you go up by double digits. Injuries are killing us as usual. And we are showing our age. Both are somewhat hand in hand.

Sorry, but Tice's 3rd and long draws were give up fails... Maybe one. But 2? Same result. 2 yard gain. When Cutler and Marshall are doing amazing things, why not try...? We played it too safe. And when you play not to lose, you usually end up doing so.

I hear ya. Although, some of the running issues I think are on the O Line, scheme, and lack of FB... Really, other than Cutler and Marshall, everyone deserved to lose. (FYI - we have no TE's...) Agreed...defensively and offensively...poor coaching decisions did us in. Injuries happen to everyone. Great teams figure ways to win, not-so-great teams...ways to lose. Sadly, our D and special teams have been a let down recently. Usual elements we've come to rely on are now failing us. It treuly may down to Cutler/Marshall heroics than ever before. And from what I've been seeing...I hope those 2 are on their own page, and not the coaches' one... We are paying scared, and trying not to lose. Sure fire ways to lose...

Sad but true. This is almost a game of health. And we are losing that. On the O line, in the secodnary, etc... I see us splitting between MIN and DET. Their season's are over. But they would love nothing else than to end ours. So they will be playing loose with nothing to lose. Where we will agin be playing tight with everything to lose. We will lose to GB. Until I see us beat them, logic dictates that they will win. We will beat AZ. Question is, will 2-2 be good enough? 10-6? That puts SEA really close...and they win the tie breaker. We just may squeak in. But with injuries and poor coaching, Cutler & marshall's heroic may not be enough... We are the best of the mediocre teams. But we can't beat anyone truly good... Until we do, we have to assume we can't.

Cutler and the O did their job. The D failed us for 2 very long drives. In fact, Pepper may have caused the loss with his bonehead offsides when we had SEA at their own 10. However, Smith and Tice botching the 4th and short...was the 3 points we needed to win. Between the D and coaches...this loss is on them.

New GM's don't get jobs because the team is solid top to bottom! Here's hoping Emery can beef up our O line, nab a LB prospect, and maybe a TE, FB or WR contributor...

Pass blocking is much tougher from my understanding. I don't mind giving him some time...I'm just saying, based on the article...the odds don't look wonderful. If he were in the low 20's or something, I'd feel much better. But, he's practically the worst in the league. And our QB gets killed on that... He seems to be an A grade at the run and an F at pass. That's an average of C. But, I'd rather have a C at both. At least the QB won't get killed. However, I can hope they can turn him from an F to a C in that area...thus making him a B.

As with all games this season, I worry about the OL and all things related...

Yeah, it looks more and more doubtful from what I've been reading. Although, I'm a firm believer in planning for their best... Assume he's playing.

I don't get the OC's that don't like "according to Hoyle" football positions. Martz hated TE's. Tice hates FB's. What gives?

We need a blocking fullback. That's what's missing from last year comapred to this year... Thus our numbers are lower.
