  2. MIA, BAL and DEN... Mia is surprising better than most expected. Baltimore is a legit playoff team as is DEN.
  3. We are in dire need of OL improvement. But given that we'll be drafting 32nd, we may not find a worthy OT or G at that that spot.
  4. If you go to Memphis (I was there this past summer)...go to Gus's for the best hot fried chicken on earth!!! PS - Rendezvous is overrated...Interstate BBQ is where it's at!

  6. Generally speaking... OL played fair to poor. Mostly poor in the first half. Tice's calling was fair to good. I think we needed more Forte, but his calls worked best in the 2nd half. Cutler looked good when he had time. I think they pulled starters mid 4th. URL did look a little slow on the return, but it also looked like he was trying to look ahead and juke and not just go full speed.
  7. No. Not even close. Sf has a greater potential to be that. But neither are defining. Odds are the defining game might end up being the upcoming GB one down the road. But really, the defining game will be the SB...
  8. I am simply awestruck... The man is amazing.
  9. Agreed. I just doesn't FEEL right.
  10. In a nutshell, both Jay and the line are failing for about 3 quarters per game in this area... Thankfully, they seem to get it together at the 4th. One can hope they can start clicking more earlier...
  11. I'm with you. I really want them here. But I don't want their $ to strangle the team. If I were to pick one, it'd be Url. He is a leader. Both guys' best years are behind them. But I think Url can be a huge plus even at a lesser physical level. Hester is all physical... My gut tells me Url stays, Hester goes... Unless he opts for less money to stay. But I can see other teams frothing at the potential to have him... I think Virgie and the McCaskey boys really like Url. I don't know this for sure...but if it's the case, I imagine he'll stick around.
  12. You may be right. But I have no doubt that McClellin was a Smith pick up. I foresee Emery putting more of his own stamp on the draft next season. I think we all figured on that... I imagine Smith was irritated when we didn't get another DT when we picked up Alshon!
  13. jason, I think you're trolling again. Maybe one person said that O line isn't the problem and all we need is a WR...but the overwhelming majority has always said we need to fix both. Some figured WR may be more important, others OL. Both are important. One area is fixed. Marshall and Jeffrey look to be long term answers. And we have improved. Last year at this time, we were 4-3. We are now 6-1. With a better line next season, we should be 7-0. yes the D is playing lights out...but the O has done its job and put points up when needed barring one debacle. Realistically, did anyone on earth expect that we'd be able to address every single hole in the team in one off-season with a new GM whose hands were to some extent tied? We have enough in place to make a run at this thing if we can improve. I fully expect that. With one more off-season, I expect even more...
  14. At least we put gas in the tank this year... (Marshall)
  15. I swear this is a deja vu conversation!
  16. First year doing it...not known as a genius, and more likable...
  17. ...it's a work in progress. My hope is that it starts hitting on all cylinders as the regular season winds down and the post heats up...
