Given that I know virtually nothing about the current crop of draft prospects...here's what I'd like to see happen, all else being equal. RD1-2 - D line and O line - either or, BPA RD 3 - WR - someone with serious potential. Big target. If the WR is in the 1st or 2nd, then OL/DL here RD 4- DB - We need depth RD 5 - LB - more depth RDs6 -7 - I really don't care...just BPA or whatever whim Emery has. I just think we need to bolster both lines...and grab a WR prospect. Everything else is depth, ST, or dumb luck we can find a diamond in the rough. I can't see Emery reaching... If we can get out with contributors on both lines and a WR that has potential...I'll be thrilled!

Not sure you're confusing hate w/ being pragmatic. The ball is in Forte's court. He's been tagged. Just like Ray Rice, who happens not to be bitching up a storm...at all. If Forte plays, then rock n roll! If he holds out, I am pissed. Just as he has the right to hold out, I have the right to be pissed off about it. I really do want him on the team...and for a number of years. I just think we should prepare ourselves either for a holdout or a trade. And if either happen, I want the best for the team overall.
