Agree with you, I always look over the FA Ds to see if there is a favorable defensive matchup to take advantage of when the D I have on my roster has a strong offensive opponent and will be hard pressed to score well against them in FF points.

From my count we have what, 23 games left to play this year? When the dust settles from those games we will see who we select with our 32nd pick of the first round. LOL

Strong starting lineup and good bench. Not sold on Dallas D fantasy wise but defenses are totally unpredictable in FF. Good luck with the team.

Our OL looked a-ok to me in the first preseason game. I would wait to see what we have to start with. Personally, we might be a whole lot better on the OL than many want to believe.

The only auction draft I do, kinda, is a contest run for the subscribers at footballguys.com I have never participated in one otherwise. Maybe in a few years when I retire and am looking to expand my horizons I will check them out. LOL

I'd have to say Big Ben, Graham, & Jennings would be the 3 I would keep.

The good thing is, if I remember right, if a team goes and claims a member of our practice squad, we have the right to keep him as long as we move him to our active roster at that point. Am I remembering this correctly?

Heck, we saw a glimpse of what he can do, if need be rest him for the remainder of the preseason and make darn sure he is 100% before we take on INDY.

That is a tough one. Not many free ones that I like. I pay for FootballGuys.com which I love. If I went back to freebie sites, I would have to say maybe FFToolBox.com would be one I would check out. I have been with FBG's for several years and have not scouted around much for free sites since but FF Tool Box was good when I use to frequent it in the past.

True, but the injury in the Washington game was of no major concern. I do not think this effected his attitude or confidence at all. It was the injury to the knee against Minny that I think was the beginning of the down-slide we are seeing because of being a bit gun shy in the offense, being unwilling to step up in the pocket and take off in a running lane when made available by the defense.

What ever happened with Ragone? I really do not recall this guy.

I posted a thread some time ago with links to about a dozen different preseason rankings and they all had us in the neighborhood of 20-25. I think they are garbage. I think we certainly should be getting more respect, but as many said in response to my first thread and thoughts, we will have to earn it, as it should be. I just hope our opponents take us as lightly as the "experts" who did this rankings do.

That kinda surprises me in light of the showing Hanie had last Thursday. I do not see us carrying 4 QBs, I doubt Hanie would be left untouched if placed on our Practice Squad, I do not want to lose a promising QB prospect in Hanie who might develop in a few years into a solid starter. Man, I still like Simms, but this situation sucks. It could be they are looking but just in case of an injury situation. Looking around the league after just 1 preseason game, Injuries are mounting already.

I agree. When in his 1st year he was aggressive and was a good scrambler out of the pocket. His first injury, if I am not mistaken, came when he tried to dive and get a TD, I believe against MIN. He then went through some tough times with injuries and since returning from that series of injuries I have yet to see the same type of willingness to run with the ball, even when there was a huge lane in front of him to take off and gain a 1st down. I think he is definitely a bit "gun shy" and you may be exactly right as to how this is also effecting his mechanics when he throws off his back foot.

There has been times when healthy the Bears did not utilize him that much. I really feel that this guy has been unjustly crucified for his injuries. Obviously, this is not something he wants to have happen any more than us. If he had been able to stay healthy since drafted, he would have been in a position to get a contract similar to Berrian when his contract ends. I think when healthy, he is a better receiver than Berrian. I pray he is able to shake the "injury bug" this year along with Mike Brown. If Brown on D and Bradley on O can stay healthy, we will be a MUCH better team.

Man, 5 QBs in the 1st 12 selections? Does your league give like 20 points per passing TD, LOL? It is hard to fathom and I pray it happens in my drafts for I would love to snap up the talent at WR & RB that dropped down the board! I would just go with a few sleeper QBs later and hope one pans out. (bear trap - on a side note I created a TalkBear Fantasy Forum at the top of the page where people have been posting the drafts they have done. You might want to check it out and see what some of your fellow TalkBears posters have been able to do in their drafts)

I do believe, as ConnorBear said, he has worked hard to get better. Unfortunately, I also agree with you, so far I have seen nothing to show me improvement.

If our OL can play well, open holes for our RBs and protect our QBs I feel we can win our division and go to the playoffs. Once you go into the post season, you never know..... I am not talking major trade. I am not saying it even has to be a trade. If a trade, a conditional pick for a player a team is planning on releasing but wants to try and get something out of the deal. More than likely, it will be a FA cut by a team in the next week or two that is brought in to add, if nothing else, depth.

I am a big Westbrook fan in FFLs. Like the starters.
