  1. Berrian is the only player I can think of. Peace
  2. Hey now!!!. Just continue the dialogue from "Top Gun". Peace
  3. Here's a link to some scouting info on him. http://profootball.scout.com/2/627735.html Peace
  4. Harrison, Hamilton. Tomato, Tomoto....what's the difference?????? Peace
  5. This Hamilton kid looks like a solid prospect. Same size as Graham. Graham looked good in his reps last week. Could this mean that Manning is yet again a safety since we have only 2 that are healthy???? Peace
  6. So is my johnson. Hey now!!!!!! Peace
  7. I'm sure he is going to start getting more reps now. I believe Davis played all but 5 offensive snaps the last game with Book getting just 25. One thing I know for sure is he would have made that catch. Peace
  8. Who is cracker going to rip on now?????? Peace
  9. My version of tank the season is different than yours. If we finish 7-9 he should stay. 6-10 or worse, he should be under serious evaluation for termination. However, you and I both know that won't happen because the McCaskey's are not going to eat 15 million in salary. We were in the Superbowl less than 2 yrs ago. We have won the division 3 times in this decade. I would say we were definately a laughing stock in the 90s but we are hardly that now. Oakland was in the SB 6 yrs ago and has the worst winning % since that time. That is a laughing stock. Peace
  10. I am simply not going to ask Lovie to change who he is and I would be offended if someone asked me to do the same. Ultimately, if the team doesn't win he should be fired. I can agree with where you are coming from but I disagree we are the laughing stock of the league. I would say the following teams have been much worse than the Bears in the recent past: - Detroit - Kansas City - Atlanta (I don't care if they are 2-1, they beat Detroit and KC) - Oakland (Davis should be forced to sell) - Arizona (they have been to the playoffs once since the 80s) - St Louis (they are now a train wreck) - San Fransisco (maybe they are turning it around this yr but the past 5 yrs are a joke) - Cleveland (how does Romeo still have a job with all that talent and the record he has put up) - Cincy (talk about a coach who has lost complete control of a team) We should be 3-0 but instead are 1-2. If we tank the rest of the way this season, I could see Lovie's job being on the line. It is now up to the team to see how we move forward. Peace
  11. Why would you be less disappointed? His reaction does not change the outcome of the game. Do you think that Lovie doesn't understand there is an issue and it needs to be addressed? If you do, then let him address it in the manner he chooses. If not, then I understand why you are upset. I agree that we all want to win - I was simply being sarcastic. Ultimately, Lovie is who is he is. He is not going to change to satisfy your need for him to show the fire and the passion. All things being equal, you prefer a coach who shows the fire and the passion. All things being equal, I could care less. We smply disagree and I have no issues with that. Peace
  12. So if Lovie was upset and showing his emotions about the current play, you would be fine with the losing or you just wouldn't be disappointed as much??? For me, I want us to win, bottom line. I could care less about the reaction I see and hear from the head coach. Peace
  13. I'll agree he should be all over their arses but I don't need to see it. Ultiimately if the team doesn't win, Lovie should be fired. Screaming like an idiot at the team on the sidelines has nothing to do with how the team plays. It only satifisfies some base need some fans have for their coach to show emotion - nothing else. Peace
  14. Agreed, however, at some point Forte is going to wear down. Jones needs to be getting 5-15 carries a game to take the load off of Forte. Peace
  15. #1 - Why would or should the McCaskey's sell? They are making money. #2 - No disrespect to you but I hate, hate, hate this argument. So you would be ok with the team losing if Lovie showed emotion like Ditka??? The emotion he shows on the sideline has zero, zip, nada impact on the play on the field. I'll take a Tom Landry or Bud Grant over a Marty Morningwig any day. My point, I want a coach who puts his team in position to win - period. Peace
  16. Pretty cool. Any chance you are going to get to play college ball? Peace
  17. No one's forcing you to watch. I am just hoping the Cubs and Sox go far in the playoffs as a distraction. Peace
  18. 2 3rd down drops in 2 weeks. Rasheed needs to grab some bench. Lloyd and Forte are our offense now. Very impressed with both. Why do our TEs have less than 5 catches between them? We should be exploiting this strength. Manning played his best game as a pro. Let's hope this continues. Even though I am pissed at him because of the penalty, Tillman has always been one of our players who contributes. He basically won 2 games last yr (Denver with the blocked punt and GB with the 2 forced fumbles). What a crappy ending to what looked like a great day. Peace
  19. Sounds like he has the right perspective. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...6.column?page=1 Peace
  20. Looking awfully thin. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...biggs21.article Peace
  21. I will be wearing my blue Mike Brown jersey and my wife will be wearing her blue Kruetz jersey. We sit in section 349, row 13. Stop by if you get a chance. Peace
  22. to the 53 man roster. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6296293.story Peace
  23. ZZ reported he had season ending ankle surgery. I would think he is most likely done with the Bears. Peace
