  1. He is younger than Booker. He has the same size as Booker. He is most likely faster than Booker. You can measure all of these things. Saying he is a better route runner and has better hands cannot be measured unless you want to compare his college stats to Booker's pro stats which I don't think you can do since Book is playing against a much, much higher level of competition. Haas has not played 1 down in the pros. Book has. Saying Haas is the best wr on the team has no basis in fact. It is merely your opinion. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Peace
  2. Moose's favorite past time is throwing his QBs under the bus. Would love to see him go and bring back Marty. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening. Peace
  3. Hey, I want Haas to play as much as anyone else but your basing that comment on potential. Booker has over 500 career catches. He had 2 1000 yd seasons with the Bears. Haas has not played a down at receiver. There is no comparison. Again, I want to see him play. He should have been given the opportunity last yr. I am hopeful he breaks out this yr and gets and shows what we all think he can do. Peace
  4. Who would this be - Haas? Peace
  5. I'll take Marty over Moose anyday. He is younger with better hands. Moose has had the drops since he has been here. Peace
  6. Wow. I couldn't disagree with this more. Booker is 31 (will be 32 in August). He's not as fast as he used to be but I bet he has more speed than Moose who can't get open or hold onto the ball. Booker never had a problem dropping the ball when he was here. I will compare him to another ex Bear. Booker 31, 509 receptions, 6311 yds, 34 TDS Engram 35, 598 receptions, 7201 yds, 35 TDS Engram just came off a career yr - 94 receptions, 1147 yds, with 6 TDS at 35!!! No reason Booker couldn't provide the same type of boost for us given he is 4 yrs younger. I'll take Marty over Moose anyday. Peace
  7. Get him. I would much rather have him than Moose. Peace
  8. It's an interesting idea that I have bounced around with friends of mine. Our conclusion is we can never get the value in return. I agree with Mad - he is the best returner to ever play this game. Even if they do not kick to him he alters the field position. I would argue further that we have the best special teams coach in the league and I trust he will find new ways to get him the ball. He also took a step forward on offense this yr. I can see him only getting better on offense with another full off season of prep. Devin is a player you cannot trade. Peace
  9. I've listened to the SCORE from day 1 over 15 yrs ago. Hell, I remember when Buddy Ryan was the SCOREs football expert and he never watched any games. My listening habits have definately changed since then. I listen to both station off and on along with WLS. They both have there good and bad points - I simply change the channel when it gets out of hand. Peace
  10. I think this what I would call pot calling the kettle black. Mariotti is an ass and I stopped reading him yrs ago. I agree that North is an idiot. I can only listen to him during Bears season and that is only because I am wanting to listen to Bears discussion. Peace
  11. Let's wait to see how this plays out. I remember last yr McNeil spouting about a rumor he had on resigning Lovie (can't remember what it was) but he ended up being completely wrong. Peace
  12. 2 picks - no way. I would give up the #14 pick for him - that would be it. Peace
  13. I remember Merrill Hodge ripping him up an down for quiting on plays in Minny. I never ever want a player on my team that doesn't give a hundred percent - period. Peace
  14. Said he will be 100% for camp. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/cs-08...5&cset=true Peace
  15. Isn't Gaffney a FA as well? I would take a look at him if he is. Peace
  16. This is track speed, not football playing speed. Put them in pads and have them race. Peace
  17. I don't think the 85 Bears ever say (in public) they were the best team of all time. I think that is more a product of the media and the fans. Peace
  18. Congrats to the Giants. They played a great game. My only regret now is we have to deal with the 72 Dolphins still. Peace
  19. Watching the Giants in the SB knowing full well that we should have beat them in Soldier field. I will even go farther and say that if we beat them they don't make it to the playoffs. Thinking about that game there was one play that stood out - Devin dropping a beautiful pass from Rex when he had 10 yds on the defenders. He catches that pass, we win that game. AAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Peace

Sorry. If Hampton wasn't a first ballot HOF, neither was Dent. I agree he should be in but he was not better than Hampton in my opinion. Peace
  21. Correct. We got the big Fatties in the middle (like Traylor and Washington in the Jauron yrs) and Url looked outstanding. Peace
  22. Nice article. Seems like we really lucked out with him considering we had signed Doug Brien in the offseason (good thing Brien sucked). http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/77...supernt.article Peace
  23. I think if Berrian is signed, Moose is gone. If Berrian is not here, they will keep Moose for his veteran leadership. Personally, I am tired of him throwing people under the bus. He needs to take a good look in the mirror because he is the source of his problems on the field. Peace
  24. I was there. The one and only time I have ever been in GB. It was a great moment. Lambeau field got real quiet except for the approx 1000 Bears fans. I will say the GB fans were very nice that day (except for 2 aholes behind us - they disappeared real quick after Robinson blocked the field goal). Coolest part of the day was the Tuba section of the Wisconsin marching band coming out at half time with Walter Payton 34 spelled out on the tubas. It was unreal. Peace
  25. I voted Bulls 1, Bears 2, and Fins last. Peace
