Travis Frederick
Drafted by the Cowboys at 30. Grew up about 15 miles from where I live and went high school five miles away at Big Foot High School. I stood about five feet from him on the field at Camp Randall. I hate Cowboys but I will be rooting for him. Peace

Bears sign Kicker from Iowa
Yes, let's release the most accurate kicker in team history (by a long shot) .... not. Peace

I don't care what the Falcons do. Jamarcus Russell is a bust. Pass. Peace- Lets just see??
- It's seems every contract is for one year
This 100%. Great way to build the roster. Don't lock yourself into anymore long term deals than you have to. Peace- Jason Campbell Signs with the Browns
Did you not watch Campbell play last year? He was horrible. Bring back McCown as a backup. Peace- good last six days
I think you meant Zbikowski was signed to play safety. He is too small for linebacker. Peace- Zbikowski to be a Bear
Special teams upgrade. Peace- Idonije
San Fransisco would be the obvious destination. However, I believe they have 17 picks in the draft. I'm sure they'll trade some but let's say they trade 5 and end up with a net 12 picks - they are not going to have a lot of roster space. I would wonder why a young team like the 49ers would want a player on the other side of 30. Peace- Urlacher
- Rodriguez arrested

The Bears have the most retired jerseys in the NFL with 13. The Giants are second with 11. The NFL discourages teams from retiring jersey because they don't want them to run out of numbers. If you think the Bears have no class, then why are you a fan? Peace- Goodbye to Urlacher
Briggs and Tillman are still very good players. Peace- Goodbye to Urlacher
Not sure if they will retire his jersey. Ditka, Hampton and Singletary's jerseys are not retired. Peace- Goodbye to Urlacher
Not with the 20th pick. Maybe if we trade down in the early second round. Peace- Goodbye to Urlacher
I don't think he is going to get much more anywhere else. Best of luck to Brian in whatever he chooses to do. Peace- Brian Urlacher
A player is worth what the market will pay him. My understanding is Brian gave the Bears a proposal before the FA deadline of around 5 million a year (heard it on the SCORE). The Bears probably told him too much and told him to go on the market and find his value. If other team's valued him at that amount, he would be signed somewhere else by now. And Brian was a great player in his time but he is no Ray Lewis who can be argued as one of the greatest of all time. Peace- Brian Urlacher
It's clear now no one is going to pay Url anywhere near 5 million a year to play next year. Let's hope he comes to his senses and agrees to return to the Bears at a much reduced rate. Peace- Brian Urlacher
Sign him to a 2 to 2.5 million dollar contact with a 1 million bonus if he plays 16 games. Peace- Backup QB?
The Packers drafted quarterbacks all the time and they had Favre. Hasselback, Brooks, Brunnel and Rodgers. Trade down and get more picks and get a QB in the 3rd or 4th round. Peace- Bowman back
I defended Lovie the other day in another post when someone said he basically didn't deserve credit for the success of the defense. I believe Lovie was an above average coach and got the most out of the defense that he could. I also believe that he had been given enough chances to fix the offense and his time as head coach for the Bears had run its course. Peace- Bears best move is the one they didnt make
I don't believe Lovie has spoken publicly since being fired and I don't blame him. Most of the head coaches hired in the off-season were offensive oriented (I think there was only 1 or 2 out of 9). Peace- Bears best move is the one they didnt make
I will disagree with you on Lovie's defensive prowess. His team led the league in creating turnovers during his time at head coach and had a lot to do with the scheme he brought in. Lovie is unemployed because he chose not to be a defensive coordinator this year. Instead, he decided to take a vacation and enjoy the 5 million paycheck. He does take blame at being horrible at dealing with the offensive side of the ball but you do have to give him credit for what the team was able to do on defense. Peace - Lets just see??
