McCown was coaching high school football before the Bears signed him. He knows his role is as a backup in the NFL. He is 35. If the Bears make a decent backup offer to him, he will be back. Peace

Their defensive tackles they have right now were not on the team in the preseason. Tillman gone, Briggs gone, DJ Williams gone. That's half of the defense out because of injuries. Wright and Conte have either regressed or the previous defense hid their deficiencies. Peace

I cut Peppers after the season. He is not worth 16 million a year. Wooten gets signed to a 3 to 4 year deal. Try to resign Peanut to a 2-year deal. The draft will be primarily defense with a quarterback possibly being the only offensive player I would select. Peace
