  1. I hate when anyone says we were lucky last year. I think it detracts from how well they played. They played damn well last year after the break and almost came back in the playoffs with their 3rd string qb. Peace
  2. Bennett is clearly their best route runner. With him out they are in trouble. Peace
  3. The fact that the Bears were playing Cutler will 6 minutes to go in a game where they were getting killed should be a criminal offense. Pay Forte. Sanzenbacher cannot drop the crossing pass. The Bears are going to miss Bennett who I fear may be done for the season. I don't with the Hester starting experiment. He should get 15 to 20 snaps a game period. Peace
  4. Have a great time! Pleace
  5. Agreed 100%. Peace
  6. The question has never been for the Bears whether or not to pay Forte. The question is how much. Peace

Props to Rex. He did what he needed to do to help his team win today. Peace
  8. Are you one of the haters?????
  9. Who cares. Wins and losses are decided on the field; not in the sports page. Peace
  10. The NFL announced they will not fine for this. Peace

Unless someone gets hurt or plays like crap, Sanz will be inactive. No way they activate 6 receivers for a game. Peace
  12. We have the greatest punt returner of all time. Hester is not even the best kick off returner to ever play for the Bears. That would be Sayers. Peace

I worked for Motorola up until 2 1/2 years ago and watched over 100,000 people lose their jobs until I was finally tapped on the shoulder after 13 years. My stepfather worked for IBM for 32 years. In the early '90s they let over 200,000 employees go. Point is, there is no loyalty in business anymore. The days of someone working for 30 years with a company and retiring are over. Lance signed a contract. He received a crap load of money up front. He needs to STFU and honor his contract. Peace

It's a 5th round pick. No big deal. I'm more concerned when we end up cutting picks in round 1 to 3. Peace

Hate to see Desmond leave. He was a very good tight end for us. Looks like Kyle Adams is going to get a roster spot. Peace

I give him props for how he left Chicago (thanking the fans with a full page ad in the papers and calling Henry Melton to wish him luck). Unfortunately, I believe he is done. Peace
  17. He's not going to get traded in the season. The only leverage he has is to hold out and, if he does that, he's done here in my opinion. In fact, I definitely want him traded in the offseason. Get some young blood in here next year. Peace
  18. I would bring him back for the veteran minimum. Peace

Bell is no Forte. He will get paid sooner or later. Peace
  20. Agreed 100%!!! Peace
  21. Great to have you back. Hope you are doing well!!!! Peace
  22. We'll simply disagree. I think Url is a great player but a lot of great players do not get in on first ballot. Someone like Lewis is a shoe in. Peace
  23. I can't speak for George, but Butkus is the greatest linebacker to ever play in the NFL. Url doesn't come close. Peace
  24. I wasn't saying they would retire the same year. I was comparing the two players. IMHO Lewis is a first ballot HOF and Url is not regardless of the year they retire. Peace
  25. I know Lewis is a dirtbag but he was also the greatest defensive player of his generation - hands down. You cannot make that statement on Url. I don't see Moss as a first ballot. Chris Carter was a first ballot and he was a hell of a lot better than Moss IMHO, Peace
