    SANZENBACHER

Drop in the 2nd half was not good and he needed to fair catch a punt as well. I'm not going to get over excited about him. We have seen this before with Haas and and several other fringe WRs. He better play some darn good special teams if he wants to make the 53 man roster. Peace
  2. Not interested. I would have rather we spent money upgrading the o-line. Peace
  3. Forte was injured his entire 2nd season and they admitted as much afterwards. That's why he looked much slower. He did play through so I give him credit for that. Peace
  4. Agreed. We toasted him regularly. Pass. Peace

    Oline test

I thought the o-line played much better. Peace
  6. Yes you're right. We completely suck even though we came one game away from making the Superbowl. Might as well not watch football this season. Peace
  7. I believe the cut down dates are as follows: Aug 30 - cut to 75 Sept 3rd cut to 53 Peace
  8. Terra is the voice of reason? Are pigs flying???? Peace
  9. Agreed. Thankfully he is only signed to a 1 year deal. Peace

  11. Olin was a great player for us but it was time for both sides to move on. Peace
  12. Let another WR behind him for a touchdown tonight against the Saints. Old habits die hard. Peace
  13. Wow. You have such a positive view of the press. I know there are a-holes out there (Mariotti, Bayless, etc) but, for the most part, I think the guys/ladies covering Chicago sports do a good job. I have been a sports editor for a year and I will tell you I am glad I deal with high school level athletes and coaches the majority of the time. I can't imagine what it would be like to interview someone who thinks their shit doesn't stink and treats people like garbage. I would assume most professional athletes are not that way but I am not sure what I would do if I came across someone like Tony LaRussa for example. He treats the media like dirt. I think people need to simply treat each other respect and that goes both ways. Peace
  14. I like what I saw from Enderle but there is no way he would be my #2 going into the season. If Martz didn't like Hanie, they should have brought in a veteran in the off-season. Peace
  15. The point of my post is that, for the most part, running backs have a very short lifespan in the NFL. Does anyone remember what happened to Shawn Alexander after he signed his big contract? He wore out and declined rapidly. Peace
  16. You said it - not me. Peace
  17. Grouchy - Good to see you back. I really don't want to read your posts if you know what I mean - nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more. Peace
  18. Hear me out on this. Let's say Barber and Bell continue to shine and Taylor does a reversal...and Forte will not come to an agreement with the team. Do we consider trading Forte if we can get the right offer (I would say a 1st round pick)? I love Forte and would hate to see him leave but running backs are a dime a dozen. I remember when the Broncos had a different thousand yard rusher 4 years in a row. Thoughts?? Peace
