I think Bar makes it and fills the hole of the rotating career vets we have been going thru at G. I picked him a few times in mocks bc of his connection to HH. Worst case we IR him this season bc of gus ACL.

A great project to stash on the practice squad. It would be nice to see him develop and beat out Gabriel in a year or two.

I think you pointed to something important. Hopefully year two they get the TEs more involved. Looking at our offense and KCs, we have depth and potential that beats there's.

Dax Raymond gets signed as UDFA, good chance he makes the roster too. Burton, Shaheen, Raymond, and Bruanicker.

They have at least 10 guys signed so far. It will be hard seeing guys we like not making it, like Wyms who has to shine.

Great stable of RBs: Montgomery, Davis, Cohen, Whyte, Patterson, Nall. Like this kids speed. It will be an interesting TC to see who makes the roster.

Whyte is a dynamic playmaker. The offense added a top RB, rated anywhere as the 2 or 3, the best route running WR, a quick fast slot CB, a blazing RB/KR, and a big, physical, fast CB. With what we had to work with, the team is improved with depth. I really like Nall but wonder if he will make a position switch to TE, they guy clones Burton.

Denmark, another CB drafted has size and speed. Looks like a great prospect to develop with Tolliver. Shelley will fit in the slot.

Strange pick because of how small he is, 165#, but he is now a Bear...so hopeful.

The Bears were not getting it done running the ball. Howard is a great back, look at his numbers compared to the leagues best. The problem was the way the offense needs to be ran he didn't have the quickness or decisiveness to exploit defenses. Davis and Montgomery have that and that will help this offense stay on the field longer and put us in scoring opportunities. Improving the run game will give the D time to rest, giving the big boys more juice to do their thing. Now find a inside O lineman and some dbs.

Gabriel is still a weapon and has a place imo. He may lose some snaps to Ridley, but I don't see his roster spot. Robinson, Miller, Gabriel, Ridley, Wims...getting that position solidified.

Riley Ridley WR, surprised me but now we have two Ga dogs in the wr pound. I still think Wims is the better.

I like the CB from Penn State, but could see going Thompson too

The RB that must compared to Hunt was Montgomery. He will be able to start if needed right away. I think the offense took a big leap having this fit.

Very well put. I think we draft heavy in the DB department. I think rd 3 they take BPA, someone is going to slip.

I think both Nichols and RRH have upside. If and only if a kid with more upside drops then sure. The great thing is the need is minimal. We are debating a 3rd rd pick, which how may have made it for us? Pace will take BPA I believe over need. I do think he goes DB and RB though bc they have fallen.

I see a Whitehair extension and maybe a Floyd. They can extend Chase Daniel's to save more cap if they need. It is about keeping the best intact while keeping flexibility when Cohen, Trubisky, and Jackson come up.

PFF lists him as above average at #32 DE. This is from a rookie who wasnt supposed to play or be depended on. I dont think he is maxed out for potential yet. Rotate him and RRH and they will be fine. We have 5 pick, if a stud falls then do it. "Nichols played 328 snaps, fourth-most on the defensive line. With OLB, it is about depth because Aaron Lynch is on a one year deal. If one is available they like, they draft. At 87, they cannot count on anyone being there but have to be ready to take BPA. If a DE is there they feel good about, then maybe they take one since I do not see Bullard coming back after the season. Nichols will elevate and hopefully Bullard plays with a do or die niche to get a payday. DBs will be hit hard and heavy, they have been thin there and lost two of their best. I wouldn't be surprised if they go rd 3 and 4 there.

Henderson could be a Trubisky scenario where they keep it hush in case he does make it to 87. You would have to believe their mouths are watering at having his talent.

As a small school, late round rookie, he does have a ways to go. He has a great mentor to follow in Hicks, so hopefully he makes improvements now that he has seen where he lacks. I think they like his potential to be a future staple along the line. I think if they feel they need more talent, they would fill it with a vet being they are close to the chase. But going BPA, if a premiere talent falls, scoop him up.
