  1. I am seeing FB ads/posts saying he is the OC for the Chiefs. Officially, I cant believe it bc its FB. Wish he stuck it out here, but he has to take the promotion even if Reid calls the plays. Good luck EB, you made a difference with our backs.

Would have to get to #3. It would take possibly 2 firsts and a player. Pretty steep, but if he is Myles Garrett 2.0 might be worth it.

Like I said earlier, they will give Kiran another chance. He either sinks or swims. Playing next to Thuney, these young guys learn a lot. He has all off season to get right and stronger. Maybe he makes it

Which position will make the most impact. A DE/DT can help the DBs. I doubt any hybrid ILB/edge rushers fall that far, but DA is a LB guy. That Reese from OSU is going to go top 10 if not higher. Id like to see a 3T, but that makes Dexter a player who needs to transition to NT and he may not be stout enough to plug that gap.

Nice breakdown Adam. The Bears have some difficult decisions to make. The easiest is DJ to me. His is clutch when he wants, but moving his cap to a DE/DT that can make a difference will help balance the team. Kmet might get the home town hardball thrown at him bc i believe he will do what he can to stay and the Bears know it. I am excited to see this offseason. If the Caleb and the WRs both take another step at their deficiencies, we could be holding off these talks.

Get Kiran prepared for the job and Thuney as insurance. Kiran either steps up or steps out. Hate to see him bust. Wish his dad never ran into Flus at the golf course.

For sure, I can see a one year extension but not long term. He played great tonight but wasn't any where near like this all year.

DE and DT come to mind for 1 and 2 and a S round 3. I dont see Billings back, think Dexter can handle nose? The need at LT stinks bc we have resources. This is Kirans time to rise, of Ozzy can do it he can too. We need Ozzy back ASAP, but feel it could be into next season.
  9. Offseason talk is now official. Lets see what Poles and Johnson have in store to improve. Our D showed improvements tonight, cant wait to see how they build. On Offense, what changes do they make there? No one expected to see us a play or two away from the divisional game.
  10. Brisker making a case to be brought back. Dude is making a difference tonight
  11. Why not take the freaking 3 points. Every damn game he does this. Just take those first 3, go for it later.
  12. I dont see how they can. Illinois better take notice. The way this state is ran, they will force them to remove Chicago from their name or tax them for it.
  13. Reports/speculation say guys his size are hard recoveries if at all. Since its a rupture, we might luck out. Until they come out with an update, we will be on the edge of our seats. The updates I get on X while in Costa Rica seem fake, so maybe im reading bad info. Here is some good news, KC rookie LT Josh Simmons had a similiar injury Oct 2024 and was the starting LT game 1.
  14. Bo Nix breaks his ankle 2nd to last play, hes done. Probably the Broncos too Stidholm is the back up.
  15. Man, LT Ozzy Trapilo was a freaking diamond. Sucks his chances of playing again is like a coin flip. I pray it isn't as bad and he can return to form. With that said, do they draft another. Develop Theo and Kiran more. Resign Braxton... move Thuney until they have a solution. I am glad we have options, but losing a LT prospect that thrived sucks.
  16. The Jets and Giants are in New Jersey, not New York.....there is a long lost of teams no longer in the city the say. I hate seeing tax payers foot the bill too, but at least the Bears are only asking for surrounding infrastructure from Illinois.
  17. Interesting. I think they are preparing just in case, but maybe they go Thuney LT if they win after or cant stop Verse.
  18. You must not live in illinois. We are under a communist rule that would rather see the state and team die than give it life. The 100 million prop taxes is BS, when LA Rams are like paying 8. I dont want to see them move but once this state has nothing, maybe the voters will wake up but doubtful.
  19. The Bears were only asking for help with roads. I dont know how the state cant accept those terms. Looks like Indiana is more than willing, they are also a smart state and you see manufacturing up and down the highways. Illinois is a graveyard compared.
  20. The Bears will eventually fade like KC once Caleb gets paid. Unless they can hit on draft picks every time at the right rythem. When I suggest trading a beloved Bear star, it is because there are rising younger players at their position and while their value is still modestly good for our beloved, we could get more in return now. The Bears need 2 starting caliber DTs, one DE, one or two S, one or two LBs, and a CB. They have extra WRs and maybe a TE that can replaced with younger/cheaper. 3 or 4 defensive starters might be draft picks, but they will also need some veterans that fit. Not much in the bank unless they can find some teams to trade with. Its just my thought on how to logically do this. Kmet is one of my favorites, so I would love him to retire a Bear. But sometimes tough decisions need to be made.
  21. I was at Favres last game, Dec 21 2010. The Dome collapsed and the game was moved to Golpher Stadium. Seats were first come first serve, I was 7 rows up, 15 yd line behind Bears bench. Corey Wooten sacked Favre and he never got up. I was also at Soldier Field Dec 29 2009 when the Bears beat the crap out of Favre as a Viking.
  22. They will start dumping resources that way this offseason, and if they can shed a DJ or Kmet, don't be shocked. Sure having them is great and keeps continuity, but there are a lot of holes on that D that draft picks cant fill.
  23. I hate it, but if they bid more than the cable networks, what can you do. It feels the market is forcing every one to streaming one way or another.
  24. All you haters better believe now. Just kidding, we f@cking beat GB twice! Whatever happenes next week, I am happy we are knocking on doors.
