I do not know how true this is, but he is sitting out so he can learn to read. He was more than likely ashamed. I can see it. He missed games/time before due to academics.

Ugh, Ryan Pace's smartest guy in the room takes a shot in the dark again and looks like a miss. Tyler Baron DE Miami was there A pair of Ohio St CBs taken right after. 5th round- RBs Ollie Gordon and Devin Neal taken at the top of the round along with 3 more CBs. Penn St Safety Jaylen Reed.... This guy will be 30 by the time he plays. Lets hope he is worth it.

Air Ersery is now the starting LT for Hou after Cam Robinson was injured. Will Anderson says he will be great. Looks like 2 LT targets are blooming (Simmons and Ersery)

That is breaking news to me. Did they say why Zah missed most of camp? To me he should be a ps player since he is so far behind the curve.

If there is any chance Love from Notre Dame is around, the Bears will continue making their Love offense. He has all the tools, plus I am a Golden Domer Homer. I wouldn't pass on a DT either if a DE is not available.

2026 scouting season starts tomorrow. Though the Bears scouts officially started 2 weeks ago attending camps. Any thoughts on what this team might need after preseason ended? Poles attending next weekend...Texas vs Ohio St, LSU vs Clemson and Notre Dame vs Miami. I have a ND and Clem players in my first few selections Team needs after last game: LT, RB, DT, DE, S, CB

I'd say KC is on another level. Mahomes has the Aaron Rodgers silckness that we seem to miss. Our run D has holes yet didnt see Jarrett or Billings out there. On Offense, they have to be faster getting the ball out. Having quicker timed patterns because they are not wide-open like last week. Good to get knocked down now so they know they have morenwork to do.

Call me a homer, but I'd like to see the team we have grow together before trading draft capital and a valuable TE. Booker has been a TC hero and if he keeps his pace he'd have 30 sacks ðŸ«

I never bought into that. Keenum was brought in to help Caleb learn the ropes of the NFL since the Flus, Waldron, Thomas Brown (who never spoke to Caleb until promotes to OC), circus left him clueless. I hope they can find a way to keep him as the #3 to help him through the long season.

I hope so. Gordon misses enough time as it is so fingers crossed he stays healthy. And the other hand, cross your fingers that Stevenson develops/matures.

CB Terrell Smith is out for the year. Tyreke Stevenson gets his shot to shine

2001 Raiders - WR Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, Jerry Porter, James Jett. RB Charlie Garner. TE Roland Williams QB Rich Gannon HC Chucky (John Gruden)

Theo Benedict was interviewed today, such a bright young talent that really gets it. He had to start fresh with the new coaching bc there was no tape on him. He knows and understands what is asked and is making adjustments and that progress has shown enough that he is now LT1/2 - competing to be 1. Some intersting comments: Thuney has really helped him with sharing his knowledge (hands, feet, and keep you head up). He said Ozzy Trapilo is a 50 year old mind trapped in a 20 year body. Him and Kiran are draft/rookie brothers.

Ha, I was going to post let the Darnell Wright rumors begin but figured I would get backlash. Only downfall is wen won't get a 1st let alone a top 10.

Crazy part is he has to beat out Olamide Zaccheaus who looked great. He will get his opportunities but might be starved with the talent we have to feed. -

Booker with another big sack. He might be our much needed pass rusher -

That first big pass to Kmet, awesome! He doesnt get credit but can carry the team if needed. Commander game 3 years ago was all him and the swing for the fences is my favorite Bear TD celebration -
Theo has 32" arms, I see him eventually moving inside. Ozzy has been slow out of the snap, I think that can be coached. Darnell gets tired bc he came to town out of shape. Braxton lost strength from injury but had issues before with anchoring a bull rush. The coaches are pushing these young OTs to the edge, you don't hear a peep about the interior. It's a process we haven't seen and hopefully none of them jump and take the fight to improve. We need to start next week with more clarity.

I was afraid of him at 10, but if he starter material for the Chiefs, I feel we missed out. I was more sold on the G/LT tweener Banks that once he was selected i was lost. Happy for Loveland, but damn now we still might need a LT. -

Should have taken Simmons, killing it at KC. Afraid bc of his injury but the guy has feet. -
First time watching TTNL and I enjoyed Phil, he tells you how it is. Like it or not, there is no grey area.

Go through the schedule and tell me how many wins you feel good enough to bet $100 on. I come up w 6, maybe 7. Just because we have improvements doesnt mean the tough schedule got easier. Just being realistic since I have had high hopes every year. -

We can very well see a 5 or 6 win team. That's why this team needs to put it together and fast. After Sunday, they better have the starting oline set. This is football and they are professionals, they should know the game and the technical crap they had to improve on should be worked out. Like Braxton had it nipped Friday but reverted back to his old ways Sunday. Now Darnell is getting called out for being lazy, he got the same warning when Ben took the job and rode his high horse into camp. As for Caleb, it is time to shine. I want to see a scripted 1st series and he nails it. Move the ball and get points 3 or 6.
