  1. Has Kmet seen the field? I think they let him be active to keep his streak alive.
  2. Not a fan of running up the middle. Fields seems to lag on those whether if it is RPO. Poor series on Getsy play calls. Trying to protect the lead?
  3. Brian Thomas Jr seems like a great kid who will get better and better. He is a high IQ and multi-gifted athlete who could have went with basketball. At 6-4 205, he would be a great complement to Moore and be a familiar face to Daniels.
  4. I hope Jayden Daniels can hide in the shadows because he has the likeability teammates will get behind and talent. Trade 1 for 4 can be enough to carry the draft torch of building a long term winner. I don't see the price as high from NE, but imagine 2025 having 2 first and 3 seconds to build behind Fields/Daniel's. The Bears can afford to play/pay Fields while grooming JD. I don't see Fields becoming a distraction if he knows it is his job to lose. He will have a better cast to keep his job or increase his trade value. Maybe Sean Payton would be interested now that Wilson is done in Denver.
  5. You would be shocked at viewing a table showing the Bears on IR or missing multiple games. I'll see if I can find that
  6. Jax is without QB Trevor Lawrence this week and Carolina could sneak a win throwing a wrench in this whole debate. Nothing has been planned until the season is over. There is no reason for Poles to play these games of who they want until the clock expires at Lambeau and then there is a small chance the season extends. They can go from pick 1 to 3 at the top and then to 14 or so with their own if they win. Once the season is over, Poles and Cunningham will complete exit interviews, discuss, and take their input to Warren on what they feel needs to happen to improve. Then they will start the process of planning the offseason and meet with scouts for pro and college personnel and build a list to strategize the offseason with the capital they have. They will meet and get a better feel for college players at the senior bowl and combine all while discussing with other teams on interest in making trades for their pick or possibly JF. Once those events are over, then they will know the possible fate of "One" or JF. This is my idiot logic. I think there is only one player besides MHJ that they will take and that is Jayden Daniels. They will need to show love to Caleb but that is smoke which can give them two birds with one stone if their strategy falls right.
  7. Not a chance MHJ get past Arz at 2. Best to hope Arz wins to drop
  8. There is a wink 😉 at the end of the message.
  9. The Bears would never give a hint on what they might possibly do with JF. They would stay neutral unless they are trying to drum up the price on pick #1, which they do not even own. So all these signs are reading into too much things and wishful thinking. They wouldn't start to make such plans until the season is complete and players pass the exit physicals. I have a friend in real estate that said Ivant Fields, Justin's dad, just closed on a property in Vernon Hills. 😉
  10. Caleb will have to decide Jan 15 to stay in school or enter the draft, so 3 weeks.
  11. Interesting and maybe why I like a certain prospect in this class. I do think the Bears offense needs more pieces regardless of the QB and they should be in reach to getting those this offseason. Then comes the OC and whether he is capable to designing plays and adjusting to beat defenses. He can script well but after that is the drop off him or the players.
  12. On Twitter, many say JF cannot play in the 4th. I believe the coaches are handcuffing him by playing conservative to protect the lead or not risk a turnover. That has lead the Bears to 4 wins as of late. It has also brought a couple losses that we should have won. I still think by signing Fields to a 5th year option gives the Bears a vet QB and time to draft and develop another QB without disrupting the continuity this team is building. It might mean missing on Williams, but Williams has dropped hints he doesn't want to play here and what good does that do by drafting him. Sell that pick to the highest bid and take a QB down the board that would be happy to be Bear.
  13. A WR1/2 would make a huge difference. Claypool was supposed to be that guy but he checked out of football a long time ago. I would be good drafting MHJ #1 or trading that to LVR for WR Adam's and 2 1sts. The slots we fall to wouldn't be as exciting but it reloads the Bears with more bullets for the future.
  14. Then let players leave in FA and get picks from compensation, the pipeline could be endless. The Bears just need a QB that can win and we haven't seen it yet.
  15. It is nice to see Mahomes and the Chiefs struggle for once. The league is hard to stay great and a team is more than a QB. I love the idea of making our #1 turn into a 2025 and 2026 first to keep the blood pumping for as many years as you can. We know Williams doesn't want to come here which makes a trade out acceptable and the Bears can still find a way with draft picks to get a QB.
  16. And their oline is patchwork. The Bears handed them the W, like a few others so it is nice to know our team is on the cusp. A Center and a WR2 would make a difference, along with a QB that can pull the trigger
  17. Not your Average Joe. Joe Flacco was relaxing on the couch when he got a call and he has resurrected the Browns into a contender with their top defense and now a high output offense. 300 plus yard games is something the Bears cannot find, maybe they are looking in the wrong places.
  18. Did coaches clean details up? Poles is watching and that cute 3rd and 1 wildcat was not clean. That might be more on Getsy but still has to be cleared by Flus.
  19. Heck yeah, that was a huge kick.
  20. His only receiver didn't return after the half. Moore was hurt and Mooney sucks. Scott, Jones Jr, and Tonyan wouldn't make the Cowboys PS. Sure Fields wasn't great, but it was enough to win
  21. Thank God Fields played a great game and willed the Bears to victory. Get him some help and we will be contending.
