  1. The writers built JD up after his ROY and playoff season. They are not giving up on his performances yet when his top two targets are banged up. For the narrative to change with Caleb, he needs to win and be more consistent. Caleb has been carried by the Ds turnovers but hindered by penalties (his cadence partially to blame) and STs (huge return differential). Caleb is on his way to flipping the narrative just by winning. If he/O can clean up the pre-snap Ps and throw on time, the sky's the limit. I think we all see he has some boxes to check and I expect BJ to get those fixed.
  2. Is it all on Kmet, Caleb, the OC? I may have seen a few plays schemed to the TE a game. I don't think Ben is ready to release TE plays until the oline and run games are solid. Also, as stated by others, there are a lot of mouths to feed.
  3. What i have heard is they are using a very small sample or group of plays right now. The offense is very complex and they are taking baby steps. Every person has to know where to line up, the motions, etc. We want the 90s Rams, but have to swallow that these guys need to learn and more will be worse.
  4. The speculation is torsion. Id go get the checked out too. Grok: Testicular torsion is a serious condition involving twisted blood flow to the testicle, causing severe pain and potentially requiring emergency surgery to avoid tissue damage or loss. However, official updates on DJ Moore describe his injury as a day-to-day groin issue, with no mention of torsion.
  5. But Ben Johnson wanted his LaPorta and made the personnel decision, right? I think you have to give this offense time to develop. They finally showed a running game which who knows if it was a fluke. As for Poles and the Bears draft picks, lets see how this team starts looking once functioning. They are barely winning games and still making foolish mistakes.
  6. Not sure if this was noted, but DJ Moore did not travel home with the team. He spent the night in DC at the hospital. He was injured in the 1st half, played the rest of the game, and decided to get medical attention. That makes sense why he looked out of it on the sideline. Looks like it was a groin injury or testicular torsion. Hopefully a quick recovery or something that he can play through.
  7. Offsides again, DJ Moore. How can this be possible, they are playing NFL. No replay to show it either
  8. Bears need to get some hits in Daniel's. He just always slips out of everything close. Then the flag when he does.
  9. Terrible but what do you expect. The Bears will always get the short end
  10. They sure didnt want to throw the intentional grounding there.
  11. Come on, you hardly understand American artists words lol. Music is about the rhythm and beat, which he has songs were you feel that. I really don't care who plays but all the whining makes a lot people look bad and that is the picture that might be intended with this choice.
  12. The 60-70 year fans might be the ones buying the tickets now, but the league has to keep the game flowing drawing in younger people.
  13. It is so early, who knows how they slot. Its been a while since I ran one. Just wanted to see some name/position possibilities. Did one with 1st of: LT World, RB Love, and DE TJ Parker
  14. True, that is just as important and hard to get. Max Crosby was a 4th rounder, so I am hoping our version (Booker) can blossom soon while we add one or two in the draft because you need to keep that high intensity every down. I hate to scheme to hide deficiencies of the most important blocker on the line. We have all these high profile playmakers on offense that we have to run bubble screens because we cannot run block or hold a bull rush. This is my early draft take.
  15. We can look back at this draft in a year or two to see Bens effect. Loveland was for sure a Ben Johnson pick and hasn't showed a glimpse of a top 10 value. Hopefully he makes his introduction game soon. Was Burden also a Ben guy too? Could've been but not producing as envisioned. I dont expect them to be stars out of the gate, it took Odunze a year. I would feel much better if Trapilo, Armagdie or even Jones would rise up and take the LT position. As of today, LT is my pick 1 next draft. Have to get that spot locked down long term. If one rises up, DE RB and S are next in line. Booker will get his chance Monday to get back in the rotation, can he be that preseason star against real competition? At RB, we have to live with what we have for now.
  16. Johnson and Caleb both changed the philosophy of needs. Seeing guys turn out good vs guys we took that didn't doesnt mean they would flourish here. Sometimes the draft picks need the right coaches and players to mentor them to turn on. The good thing is this team has a chance to grow over the next few games and the narrative will change with winning. If they lose, then these concerns grow gloomier
  17. Bad Bunny is top of the charts worldwide. Leave the country and watch a music channel and you will see the name. When I was in a resort pool bar in Cabo, I loved the music. The timing seems political, but who knows. Just remember people are easier to control when divided, so everything these days will be polarized. I will enjoy it like every superbowl. Watch a little ofnthe game and enjoy the food, drinks, and people.
  18. It is hard to believe Baltimore is 1-4. I believe they were the preseason favorites to win the SB and Lamar the MVP. They were still sitting 4th highest odds before getting destroyed at home by Houston today. Looking at the schedule, the Bears can really shake their odds with a win in Was, then Saints, Ravens, Bengals, and Giants. I expect Lamar back after their bye, so him and Jayden will be the qb tests
  19. I'm not ready to pin EB yet because it is the same Swift we saw last year. We have a new upgraded interior, even they don't seem to be the difference. Do we look at the OTs? Even BJs comment said it was not the RBs. As for Roschon, ive seen comments elsewhere that say he doesnt catch well, is slow, and maybe pass block is not up to par. BJs comments earlier that said he has to play STs makes me think thats all the coach sees.
  20. Just for value perspective, Houston just traded Cam Robinson to the Browns. They received a 2027, 6th round pick for Cam and a 2027 7th round pick.
  21. We are all basically ghosts throwing out thoughts to escape reality. Let's get back to the Bear content and keep the hard/soft feelings at home. We are all brothers and sisters that drop in many times a day to see what's new. 🐻⬇️☮️
  22. Ben Johnson I believe said the same. That the running game is not the RBs fault. Time will tell.
