Draft...
There was no trenches except Ersery to draft. I think Ersery could be better than what we have, but Burden was a 1st rd prospect and they went that route. Ersery was closer to 3rd round in many opinions, I think he will be a name around for a long time. I think they messed up not taking Kaleb Johnson to be replace Roschon Johnson as a 1, 2 combo. Maybe Scattebo will be the pick round 4.

Bears select Shemar Turner, DT at #62
Pickens seems wrote off, the Bears had him playing out of position and he was hurt. He busted his ass with dexter and is more a 3t and 0t. Let him play at his natural position.

Best Available Day 2
I figured they would want more beef, to help Billings. Maybe the grab another But, maybe they don't need the beef inside with bigger DEs.

Best Available Day 2
I guess it's until tomorrow now. Can Poles sit on his hands with 109 and 148.

Best Available Day 2
Kaleb Johnson RB, Doyle helped coach him. He fits the bill to be the Montegomery

Bears select Ozzy Trapilo, OT at #56
Not sure the Bears will ever take a huge risk on character. It might be nothing but assault allegations against Green could really bite them if he gets prosecuted.

33" arms but he uses his body well. We are going all in on Caleb, which is needed. It's what I wanted to see. Get the RB and the rest go D.

Commercial....let's go!!!

Best Available Day 2
I'd add Princey to the DE. Dexter's best friend, has decent t size and good production, and no assault allegations.

Best Available Day 2
I was going to relocate after 41. Now we will have almost back to back picks.
-
Best Available Day 2
if we see Declan Doyle in the phone, then we know it's RB Kaleb Johnson

Poles needs to hold onto his draft picks going forward. We were handcuffed from moving up early.

Bears select Luther Burden (WR) at Pick #39
The Bears could stay in 12 with Kmet and Loveland. Every one and their brother in Chicago was crying because they didn't need another TE. I am not saying on this site, but social media. I am enjoying seeing these weapons added. Still would like to see a RB and a OT/G. The Bears signed Dayo Odeyingbo to pair with Sweat, so DE doesn't have to be a high round and same a DT. They can go developmental there.

Sweet. Way to get more value. Keeping fingers crossed for some oline.

Bears select Luther Burden (WR) at Pick #39
Draft Ersery here and trenches on offense are pretty good. I wanted Banks but we will never know if he was the target

Bears select Luther Burden (WR) at Pick #39
They could deal Kmet, but Johnson is a two TE schemer. They are deep with receiving. DJ Moore quit a few times is my first thought.

Bears select Luther Burden (WR) at Pick #39
I love the player but did not see it coming. I did many mocks taking him because he is electric. Does DJ Moore get traded?

Best Available Day 2
Scratch my RB 2, now it's Kaleb J. Since NO has a OT, Bears might go Green then Ersery.
-
Best Available Day 2
I like Ersery, Henderson, and DE. Would like one that fits all 3 downs but could see Green or Ezeiruaka for their rush
-
Best Available Day 2
I left the site after seeing this (Henderson gone) then they announced the pick a minute ago and came back. In a way, i was relieved because the Bears could trade down with one of their picks.

He was one I would have been perplexed to draft at 39 if he was there.

Bears Select TE Colston Loveland at #10
I look at it Caleb's draft. What does Coach Ben and Caleb need to make him a top 5 QB. With only one pick, and Banks, Loveland or Jeanty are the guys that I would expect. I see the Bears investing early on Offense to get this accomplished. I wouldn't be surprised if they go 39 RB and 41 OT, since NO plucked Banks before us.
-
Bears Select TE Colston Loveland at #10
Loveland is not just TE though, he is replacing Keenan Allens snaps in the slot too. Kmets salary drops to 8.9 million 2026-27. I didn't want a TE or WR, but after Banks was gone I was stumped and figured Tyler Warren. I don't think Warren would do as well as Loveland in the slot slot, so now the pick started making more sense to me.

Draft...
The Bears went all in drafting Caleb. To get the most out of him, they hired Ben Johnson, added 3 pieces to the oline and now drafted a move TE. They can finish this process tomorrow.

Draft...
I thought Poles was fine. He was the same with Caleb, even though they knew it was happening. Warren was an odd ball..."go blue".. Ben Johnson did remind me of Gruden. You can tell he wanted this player. Not saying they didn't want a LT first though. Let's hope we can get Ersery. He is more athletic than Banks. For offense, if they can get Henderson, Johnson, or Judkins I think they will be complete and will be regarded one of the best on paper.
