I he signs a friendly WR3 type deal and the Bears add a decent WR 1 or 2, he should look better.

We will see, 4 games to go and If they continue playing well I do not see the GM worrying about salary cap implications over the most important position. They will draft a QB somewhere in this draft so they have insurance. If Fields craps these last 4, then the I can see your scenario. I am good if they move on from Mooney too, they need a legit #2 with some length. Mooney as the 3 would be fine, but Scott should be ready for a larger role.

Trade NE, who reportedly will part ways with Belichick or ARZ. Those two will be at the bottom, imo, next year. Get a future 1st and a 2nd this year to move down and get MHJ, Alt, or a QB. I don't want to see a team on the verge to contend in the playoffs to step back. I want to see them use their draft assets to continue adding future high picks.

Finally watching the Bears vs Lions game from last Sunday since you don't see everything from the stands. I am on board to resign RB Foreman. Go jnto 2024 with Foreman, Johnson and Herbert again. Maybe take a late round flyer on a explosive change of pace RB. Also, Fields had another + in my books. 4 games to go and if they keep playing well and get those W's I think you have to give this group another shot.

I would love in the mid-1st Jaylen Daniels or 2nd rd Ewers. Depends on what the Bears want. Daniel's is going to be more of a mobile QB, I'd say similiar to JF. Ewers is a pocket QB. With Getsy being a GB system guy, I'd say a pure pocket QB is his direction. I wish the Bears had a OC that designed the system to fit the player more like Bal with Jackson or Harbaugh w Kapernick.

I seen he was fired at the half?! He deserves to be. Chargers have stunk and Eckler was my biggest FF disappointment
-
Greg Gabriel called the guy out who created that rumor tweet and that guy basically said it was for fun. It's football.. a game...not a big deal.
-
Legette is now hovering round 1 and Corley round 2. I wouldn't be upset with a Daniels and WR Nabor.

He is a fun segment on the score on Mondays and seems very likeable. They always try to get him to leak dirt but he is smart enough to keep his lips zipped. I am glad he is getting the ints. They will come as the defense improves pressure and can stop the run. The Bears D was not too good at that until recently.

I am leaning Jayden Daniel's over the others. After the ND game, Caleb dropped in my books, and he was contained the next few games against Utah and Washington.

I know schools scare us, but Oregon has a Center that seems legit. He will go rd2 or 3, but a thought after Van Pran if he goes sooner.

We have not seen the one, two, fire JF, I agree. He has handcuffed himself or he has been instructed to be hesitant, meaning if they don't want him throwing unless he is sure. They are playing not to lose after their ugly start that had them hampered with injuries. These coaches are also fighting for their jobs too and turn overs are the top way to lose. Their formula has just started to show it works and 3 or 4 more wins, they might sneak into the playoffs.

Poles drafted a gem! Wright is looking like a future all pro RT. Big test this sunday. The first play, I noticed B Jone gets bull rushed and pushed nearly into JF. I didn't key in much after that play but that was concerning. If Poles can get another like Wright to anchor the LT, this line would be scary. You don't hear much about Jones so I assume he a doing fine and an upgrade would be a luxury but top 5 LTs are like finding those QBs.

Let's change the narrative from broken play to extended play. We want to see our plays look as scripted, but they are not there yet. Slowly getting better but to stay in a game or even win, they cannot turn the ball over so we a handcuffed offense by design and how it's executed. We don't like it,but we are starting to whisper "playoffs".

One thing about Getsy is he changes the scheme to try and beat a defense. If the offense was a top 5-10 unit, it would be the other way and they would force the defense to scheme to stop them. I will have to see how Cleveland played against Baltimore, they will use that same tactic against JF. Their blitz rate was 32%, which was 9th most. They wanted to hit Jackson hard to limit his runs. This will not only be a test for JF, but a bigger one for the Oline. Quick look, Jackson was held under 200 yds passing and under 50 rushing, they split the two games. There is some hope the Bears can find a way.

Dreaming... Trade the #1 overall to ARZ for a haul. 3, 16, 67, and 2025 1st. WR Harrison and TE Bowers give the Bears two blue chip receiving threats and Van Pran at C upgrades the oline. Newton a true 3T replaces Jones and gives the Bears an inside attack threat. Trice and Burch are long and strong DE's that join the rotation and bulks the dline with more size and push. Bishop FS and Hick SS and injured Zac Zinter G who would have been a 2nd round pick can recover and learn before taking over a Guard spot in the future.

Illini alum DeVito orchestrates a game winning drive and Will Levis looks like a gem against the Phins, two exciting games that go our way!

Flus said when they drafted Brisker it was because he loved football. You always see him trying to motivate his D all game. He has become one of my favorites

I imagine his playbook knowledge is going to limit him, but if he has a good football IQ he might have enough down to get some snaps in -
Keep the band together! Everyone does not have to agree and that is okay. I think we all want to see the Bears be great again and stay that way. How they get there is never in our hands. Look no further than the draft and the head scratcher picks, but we end up saying okay, let's go!

It will add a 20-30 min drive to the commute going to Arlington, but they can really develop and make the experience much nicer there. I will miss the city and lake view, but getting older I am hoping for a roof, retractable would be a bonus. My thought is buy the Mccormick east building and tear it down to build rather than the south parking lot.

Thanks, will do ? -
And when he is on, like against Washington, he can play like a top 5 QB. He or the coaches need to get him playing that way all the time. The issue is when the team cannot handle the pass rush and they handcuff him. He loses confidence and thinks he needs to run and misses the progressions

I will be spending most of the time going the bathroom, getting another round of drinks and watching 7-10 minutes of the game but always represent. It is more entertainment with good friends then connecting with the game but we have caught some great moments over the last 20 some years of going once or twice. -
What if they trade pick 1 for pick 3 and a haul. Chances are still good MHJ is there. Bilicheck would take a franchise QB or LT before WR. Cardinals are a wildcard on what they do, but I figure a QB.
