I think bear fans are torn because they want to see a drafted player succeed. But they also see the failures, whether it is missed targets or a dropped passes. The offensive disappointments are not just on the QB but the 11 that miss the assignment.

I think a 10 day ban on any f*ckery is due. Next f*ckery up is 60 and you miss chiming in on the draft. So no more f*ckery please.

Great insight. I have been on the early Daniels wagon just from reading about him. I was hoping he might last to the pick 10 range, but it sure seems like he will climb fast as the draft gets closer. My hope was to move down, gain a 2025 first and take him and sit him behind JF for a year but he might have to be taken at the top

Trade down with ARZ... it says a 2024 1st from Arz, but it is a 2025 1st. This draft addresses all needs WR1, LT, QB, DE, 3T, 2 FS/SS, C, and RG with a 2025 1st. Zinter will be redshirt but is a top G if healthy.

And created the double doink! Not sure if having all those points from kickers is a good thing or just a sign that we couldn't score from the red zone.

The NFL leaked the Superbowl with the logo colors of Purple and Red. SF VS Bal. If that happens, then we are all dooked for spending countless hours being super fans.

Out of all the QBs that make it, it would be nice to see what the team structure is. From GM, HC, how well the oline and weapons. Here is a look at Houston, who we can hope to see their results w a new HC. 8-6 record. Stroud has been an outlier, the GM, Caserio, was hired in 2021, is a Patriot product. First time HC Demarco Ryan's is a product of SF learned from Shanahan. The oline LT Tunsil 1st, LG Scruggs 2nd, C Dieter 3rd, RG Mason 4th, and RT Fant udfa. WR Collins 3rd (1000 yds) WR Brown 7th (500yds) WR Woods 2nd (300 yds) Metchie, Dell and Hutchinson are young guys with nice potential. Schultz TE 4th (500 yds). Singletary and Pierce RB. This would be our hope with drafting a rookie QB. We need a better C and hate to say it but a LT that doesn't get lose ground on bull rushes. A bigger WR 2 too.

I agree they are pointing up and looking like a potential top 5-10 unit. Detroit was their biggest test imo. If Eberflus gets the boot, I wonder what they might look like under different a coaching philosophy.

We have been glowing about the Bears Defense lately, but they really haven't faced many starting QBs either since their turn around. Maybe Goff, but against Mahomes and Herbert, they were handled. Is the D really as good as we think? They seem to get exposed when it matters most too.

I hope there is a team that can fix JF and he can have a good NFL career as long as we get some compensation. He will need an OC that can design a scheme like Baltimore has for Lamar. My fear is the Bears will destroy whoever they draft and have to lean on them before they are ready and we will be in the same place 3 years down the road

Flus is too nice, which I a good flaw in life, but you will go down with the ship. This ship is sunk and Poles can be put on notice too for his embarrassing GM record for putting a winning team together.
-
I am getting tired of hope. If they don't fire Flus and hire a big name HC that has a track record, it doesn't matter who is QB. The McCaskeys goody two shoe players and coaches have brought disappointments for 40 plus years.
-
If....., a few of JF passes were caught, like Tonyan and even the hail Mary, Fields would have a plus. I am tired of hanging on, so bring in someone else and let Poles have his shot at getting it right. You buy in and are let down and I can now admit thst Bear fans are the most insane.

Keep that Carolina pick as a gift that keep giving. 2025 you have 2 firsts, if they have another high 2025 pick, trade that and so on. Eventually you can let your talent walk if you keep drafting well

I think they do go with the 5th year option. Fields may want a long term extension but that hasn't been earned. He will not like a rookie drafted behind him either but that forces him to do his best.
