I think they need to grab a weapon for Fields. Simi or Terry? Be fine with Wade too.
-
I think we are all fine with these moves right now. I do not think using this model of continuous trading up brings success. If we get the QB right and it shows in wins, then we can maybe see the reverse draft system of trading down for more capital. It all starts with having a franchise QB .

It is nice to see targets we may like. Who do we need? WR Simi Feholko Cade Johnson SDSU Sage Surrat Tamorrian Terry Shi Smith SCar Trevino Grimes Marquez Stevenson CB Shaun Wade OSU Tay Gowan Shakur Brown S Richard LeCounte Hamdan Nasirdeen ILB Dylan Moses DT Marvin Wilson Daylin Nixon TE Bevin Jordan

That is all I am saying. I love these two players but also fell in love with Trub, Floyd, Miller, and Montgomery also Next year they better not trade up. No more consensus convictions. Oh wait, he still has time to use up those picks.
-
I love the prospects they have but Pace cannot avoid trading up. I bet he pays for fast passes at amusement parks. Hits play next on the juke box. Would Mayfield or Cosmi be that much worse?
-
Another hefty price we Bears fans seem to pay yearly.
-
They traded up again... Tevin Jenkins OT. Damn finally Pace getting smart
-
Some names to watch for Tevin Jenkins Liam Eichenberg Dillion Radunz Sam Cosmi Jaylen Mayfield Elijah Moore WR Mondale Moore WR Terrance Marshall WR Trevon Moehrig S Christian Barmore DT Azeez Ojulari DE/OLB Asante Samual CB

I hope the experts are wrong that say Constanza (oline coach) got the unit playing well the last part of the season and they can push that need down. Without a 1st next year, they need OT more so now. Great chance we can get a decent one too.

It will be fun to watch how this class does. Jones is a good fit for NE. I can see him becoming a Brady prodigy. Make a quick read and drink and dunk his way to 6 rings. Lance didn't go to a team with QB coach dummies. Shanahan watched Mahomes beat his team down in the Superbowl. This is a huge risk, but it could have a big payday. As for Fields, after watching him pick apart Clemson in the Sugar Bowl, I felt he was the best QB on the field that night. I didn't watch much more of him, but feel he can become a franchise QB that we have been waiting for.
-
You called that one. I looked up and seen the C, was like here we go again. Pace will go out like a boom.
-
Let's hear your thoughts I like that OT has dropped. I hope the Bears don't screw up and draft WR or CB if Slater is there or Dershaw.
-
I knew that was coming. They wouldn't give up as much as they did for Mac Jones. Lance is the new breed QB teams are going to.
-
Been seeing Lance #3 to SF. Makes more since than Jones.
-
If Orlando Brown is a great LT, you find a way to lock him up long term. They are not found on clearance racks often.
-
If they cannot get one of the top QBs, I would prefer they trade down to gain a 2nd or 3rd. Make it so next year they can go all in in the QB.

Trade down...trade down again...go Your score is: 46694 (GRADE: A) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 32 (T.B.): Alex Leatherwood, OT/OG, Alabama (A-) Round 2 Pick 25 (LAR): Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC (A) Round 2 Pick 29 (BUF): Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M (A-) Round 3 Pick 19: Spencer Brown, OT, Northern Iowa (A) Round 3 Pick 24 (LAR): Marvin Wilson, DT, Florida State (A+) Round 3 Pick 29 (BUF): Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford (A+) Round 3 Pick 31 (T.B.): Shaka Toney, DE/OLB, Penn State (A+) Round 4 Pick 32 (T.B.): Jacoby Stevens, FS/SS, LSU (A+) Round 5 Pick 20: Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson (A+) Round 6 Pick 21: Adetokunbo Ogundeji, DE/OLB, Notre Dame (A+) Round 6 Pick 25: Tony Poljan, TE, Virginia (A+) Round 6 Pick 38 (COMP): Rachad Wildgoose, CB, Wisconsin (A+) Round 6 Pick 45 (COMP): Ben Mason, FB/RB, Michigan (A)

And he probably won't this time either. He needs to be shown the 2017 draft over and over again.
-
If Pace wanted to do it round 1, trade down For an extra 2nd or 3rd. I think if they got 2 2nds, they can fill OT and WR.
-
1 OT 2 CB 3 WR 4 QB 5 OT
-
The Bears could trade up and draft Justin Fields or Trey Lance and it will only cost next years first and maybe a 2nd this year. That is not the end of the world for cost either. Is one of those the next Mahomes or Watson? I haven't read enough up on them to be honest but if Nagy and Pace have conviction, do it.
-
I am all for drafting QBs early but not sure about moving up to 8 though. I looked up the value, it would take 550 points which is equivalent to the 35th pick which would take the 2022 1st pick or our 2021 2nd and 3rd. I would sit tight, if a QB falls great if not take another need 1st like OT. QBs can be found in rd 2 or 3 but you need a good surrounding support of OL, WRs, RB, D and coaching to help them out more. I think they will find a prospect to work with this year.
-
I would hate to waste future picks on the 5th best QB option. If a top tier OT or CB is not available, trade down. Gain an extra 2nd or 3rd and fill: OT, CB, WR, and QB in the first 3 rds.

Trubisky will be the backup to Allen. Trubisky was targeted because athletically he is similar to Allen. Trubisky doesn't want a long term deal just yet because he still would like a shot to become a starter. Now if Trubisky has a chance in Buffalo to start a series of games due to injury and looks great in the new atmosphere, he is now a FA with the keys.
-
It would be worse than that. Buffalo will franchise him and we trade multiple 1st's and pay him hugely.
