I was surprised how well their pick of WR Jamarr Chase over LOT Penei Sewell turned out. Long term we will see. But it was great FA pickups to help then advance in a tough AFC.
-
We still have 25 million to buy a few of those positions but yes, we are missing some sweet picks in the 4th round.
-
-
Devontae Adam's traded to Raiders for some high draft picks.
-
Marquez Valdes-Scantling GB WR If he is a cheap 4th, why not. He never was much in GB despite the speed. I would rather have Lazzard to be honest.
-
Bears sign LB Nicholas Morrow from LV Raiders. Looks like the D is getting the early attention. Make Coach E happy.

We will find out. It will be the Bears luck he turns out to be an expensive G. I hated the trade up but was happy they finally addressed OT. I am leary of Poles so far. Daniel's gone for only 8 mil and it opened another hole on the line. It is early, so he has time to redeem himself and I believe he will, but hate seeing draftees go.
-
And to think many on here wanted Jenkins with our first round pick before moving up. Maybe the Bears should put him on the trade block and see if they can get back their 2nd. Then they can take Fuele.

Bears Sign Bengals DT Larry Ogunjobi (40M over 3 years)

Scratch that as a high draft need. I forget these things leak before the actual date of 3/16. -
WR Micheal Gallup re-signs with the Cowboys and Tom Brady un-retires and rejoins the Bucs.

Every mock I run has no LT prospects at 39 a few decent RTs. Maybe a decent G but Zion in my mocks went at the end of Rd1. I could see them take S Cine or CB Woolen/McCreary. If Raimann is there at 39, that might be the OL.
-
No trades down, couldn't find an OLT prospect early, but this could be a route taken. Ideally we trade down to gain a 4th or low 3rd. 1st pick Rd 2a is the 3T that can disrupt the offense. 2b is our Randy Moss. RD3 is another WR target that can play early for Fields. 5a is a good CB prospect that has a chance of starting, 5b is a nasty guard that plays with attitude. RD 6 is a raw OLT prospect. To turn this franchise around, it will take a few good drafts.
-
I was thinking the same. Quinn preferred the 4-3 if I recall. Mack prefers 3-4 and may have requested the trade.
-
Completely agree. I wish we had a bunch of picks but that is what happens when a team has been run poorly for 15 years. Let's hope Poles doesn't get desperate and start making drastic moves to try and quick fix it. We can make a huge stride with 2 FA signings followed by a solid draft. Get a Center and WR to help Fields.
-
I think they fill the Mike LB with the first 3 picks. No specific order, I see them going WR, G, and MLB. They either re-sign G-Daniel's or let him walk and sign C-Jensen. Then draft a G which is easier to find in the middle of the draft.

Arob is at the point of his career where he needs to go to a contender. Take a pay cut, join Arizona and win the next Superbowl with Murray, Conner, Ertz, and Hopkins.

Seems all the Bears DL are in the 6-4 315 range Plus/Minus 1 inch Plus/minus 25 pounds I think they can all interchange and if they plan to use Mack, Quinn, and Gibson as DEs, then the DTs they had will be squeezed from the previous 3 DL spots down to the 2 in the new scheme. It will be interesting to see how they plan to do this.
-
Schemes can be made to fit personal, so I don't see the Bears creating more holes on the roster if necessary. Eberflus/Williams have two of the best pass rushers in this era, they will figure something out to get the most out of them. That is where Goldman might make a better 3T because he is larger. He used to force double teams back in the day because he was a force. If they resign Nichols, he is Harris/Tank sized. The Bears will definaletly need to invest in ILBs right away and a SS. To transform the D completely, it will take at least two off seasons.
-
Great to see Aaron Donald win the SB. That is who I hoped the Bears would've drafted but instead we settled for Fuller. Then there is Leonard Floyd, great to see him flourish also. We traded up for him so we didn't get Aaron Donalded again but we couldn't get Floyd to succeed.

It is tough to spend on certain positions like RB. To do so, that player better be a game changer. If Monty wants to stay after this season and gives a deal 8-9mil, then maybe.
-
Wouldn't it be something to sign O Brown and Jensen. Oline is locked for a few years. Draft you can find WR, S, ILB to fill out the roster
-
And I don't think he won't look WR or another position before but those are the list of supply/demand in his eyes. KC took a RB in the first which in Jason's list is a huge no-no. If KC had to do it over again, I bet they don't take him again.
