How far back does this go? Angelo, Emery, and now Pace. Is it the GM or is there a master behind the curtains pulling the strings? Is Virginia making these picks? The Bears might as well go the Raiders way and hire Mel Kiper. Since I do not think Pace or Nagy survive and are gone after next year, they should be forced to follow a safe draft script. RD1) LT RD2) RT RD3) WR RD4) QB

As much as I would love to have a QB like that, how do you justify trading those assets for that salary. We are already in the cap hot basement. The Bears have to stop borrowing against the future and figure it out and get ahead. If they stopped being "cute" it is easy. How many smartest guys going against averages do we have to go through.

I liked what I read on Tanner Morgan from Minnesota. Would like to learn more on him, he could be a nice mid draft pick with some potential.

Was Eddie ever really great or lucky one year?

Pass. The Bears need to draft QBs until they get it right. You do not trade, there is a reason they want to part with him.
-
To be honest, I would rather build the foundation now like this and get the first round QB next year.
-
I seen the Ragone move last night. I wonder if Mitch will follow him and learn under Matt Ryan?
-
My thought was the Bears lose Arob, Hicks, and Massie and have to invest high. Chances are Leno comes back because they cannot start the season with an unknown prospect protecting the blindside so Eichenberg will replace Massie RT for a year. Foles will start at QB until Trask has a grasp, maybe all year too.
-
Worth a look. No one is a natural winner. You fail over and over again until you get it right and if he wants to get it right, he makes improvements.
-
I thought it was always after because they add and subtract the moves. Like when they cut RB Davis last year and gained a pick back.
-
Mac Jones QB goes 1 pick before Bears every time... so Trask it is with a trade down. The trade nets a big WR and we take another Irish lineman. 3rd is a big DE/DT to help fill in rotation. NW LB to compete for ILB, playmaking slot WR/KR, a box SS with smarts, aggressive RB with burst. CB w size and another RT prospect. Round 1 Pick 27 (T.B.): Kyle Trask, QB, Florida (A-) Round 2 Pick 20: Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame (A) Round 2 Pick 27 (T.B.): Tamorrion Terry, WR, Florida State (A) Round 3 Pick 19: Tedarrell Slaton, DT, Florida (A+) Round 5 Pick 20: Blake Gallagher, ILB, Northwestern (A+) Round 6 Pick 20: Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida (A+) Round 6 Pick 34 (COMP): Greg Eisworth, SS, Iowa State (A+) Round 6 Pick 38 (COMP): Obi Eboh, CB, UCLA (A+) Round 6 Pick 40 (COMP): Master Teague, RB, Ohio State (A-) Round 7 Pick 4: Drew Himmelman, OT, Illinois State (A

I would think the nfl will announce some type of leanancy to keep the league from a massive dump of contracts. It may be wishful thinking, but the majority are going to be in trouble. The Bears next season will be a mess anyways, so maybe it can be a blessing to push the reset button. I hate the thought of losing Hicks and opening a huge hole, maybe the glue of the D.
-
WR is supposed to be a strong class once again. This has been the case the past few seasons. I think the Bears can put this down to 2nd or 3rd round. We found a gem in rd 5, but Mooney is best suited as a 3rd/slot.
-
I give into the early hype every year until they rebound back to their normal suckage. For me to believe, they have to draft two starting caliber OTs and a QB that has the tools to be a top 10 QB year in and out. If they go differently, I will check them out early but know we are done and the new Brown Bag Browns and De-toliet Lions without hope for another 3-5 years.

We seen this writing on the wall. We know the cap is going to be drastically lowered. We know the Bears main source of income is Chicago Bear revenue. Spending on a new GM, most likely a coach, a QB, and filling the rest of the roster is too much on a down year. So, we have a do or die year with a lame duck coach/gm. The DC will be either someone from within or a young unknown who needs the opportunity at the cost of this being a one and done year. Don't be surprised other coaches/scouts depart knowing next season is most likely the last here. Pace and Nagy have a ton of work to earn another contract. The next question is can they turn the team around and how.
-
No on Stafford. He is only 32 but a Lion. Next we hear let's trade uniforms. Sorry, but the Bears need to fix the position themselves through the draft. If Nagy is a guru, let's see what he can do with a draft pick he helped pick. If we have to use a potential 1st rd pick to move up, I guess so be it. As long as one top pick is used on oline. As for the poll, I would take Wentz out of this group.
-
The coach really created a mess but I'm sure he had the blessing from GM to bench your highest paid man. He will need to rebuild trust with both Wentz and Hurts because I don't see how the Eagles can carry 33 million in dead cap if Wentz gets traded. Eagles big issue was Oline, which was mainly from losing 5 of their guys. As for Pace, he has been pretty poor at top talent, pretty good in middle rounds, but overall didn't pass the test.
-
If they Bears can only win that dreaded last Superbowl for Virginia, the family would probably sell the team on the high. Praying for that miracle.
-
But Pace seen walterfootball had Claypool as a 3rd rd pick lol. I thought Philly ruined their team last night by pulling Hurts. Now they could have ruined him and Wentz.
-
Could have taken Jalen Hurts with either of our 2nd round picks. I like Kmet, but would be happier with some hope at QB.

It is more just the city for lockdowns, the rest of the state has been easier on businesses. Right now it is the Europe one, but it mutates and who knows by then. -

Not a chance in Chicago. Most likely not even next year with covid-21. -

The only thought on Quinn is it seems no matter who plays opposite of Mack they struggle. You would think it would be a benefit. -

They miss Goldman, his return will help. Might need to replace Trevathan, find a permanent SS, and add another contributor opposite of Hicks to rotate.
