    Cole Kmet

Kmet is only going to see the field as a blocker. Right now he is learning and playing the Y. They might have a play or 2 installed where he can slip out for a pass, but the way the oline is blocking, they need all the help they can get. If Kmet was up to speed like Graham, then he would see 30 plus snaps and Graham 15 or so. Look at it this way, Graham, Miller, Mooney, Wims, Ginn, Patterson, Kmet, and Harris all are fighting for time at 3 positions. You have the oline (5), QB (1), RB (1), Robinson(1) who are automatic. That leaves 3 positions to mix in the other personnel. Kmet will come in time.

Too soon Graham is doing alright tho
  3. Anyone else hearing the speculation of the Bears may be looking to trade Trubisky? Since they elevated Tyler Bray from the PS, rumors are starting. Bears would be best to get something (4-5th)for him before he walks. I'd love to see someone like NE take him and see if a different culture can make him a legit QB.
  4. Ballard may have been the better hire over Pace. Foles is Nagy's QB. 21 million dollar man and I wouldn't pay him a hundred for that game. He gets a couple games to get accustomed. Bears D could use Goldman. His value is missed. The NT is the key to a great 3-4.
  5. I think that may be a big part. I grew tired of the media all week saying we finally get to see what Nagys offense is like. They forget Daniel's played a few games and he supposedly knew this playbook. I just want to see this team play great all game for once. 3-0 and frustrated lol
  6. Let's hope so that drama can be put to rest.
  7. The issue with Miller is his shoulder. He cannot be trusted to pass block yet. That will be a key for defenses to read and why we will see a lot more 2 TE sets
  8. Bears reach a 3 year deal with RB Tarik Cohen. Averages to 5.75 per year. Shows they moved on from AR for the time being.
  9. If the team didn't have to dump a bunch of cap on Foles, it would be a done deal. To think if Nagy could have adjusted the offense early last year to enhance the run like last week, the Bears may have had success and be in a better situation. I guess to succeed you have to fail first.
  10. I was happy to see Mitch under center. That shotgun run pass option game is for the birds. Get the run game going to develop play action as you said. If they develop a comfortable lead, then mix in some RPO. RPO could be the greatest thing but it takes an experienced team to run it because it is more complicated. Which I why we see missed blocks and penalties that kill any momentum.
  11. Changing the scheme made a difference imo. The line hates rpo, I'd say the RB hates RPO too. If they switch to Foles, it would be interesting to see how the line does because he would play shotgun and run the rpo more. I give credit to Nagy for modifying to players strengths. If he sticks to the same plan as week 1, look for Montegomery to have a big game.
  12. What is funny is now they have Patterson as WR2 on the depth chart making 7 WRs. Most likely because of his jersey number. If this offense can click, meaning the unit can make mistake free plays, they could be decent or even good. I like the WRs with youth upside with Arob and Ginn providing vet leadership. The TE group is the same and don't think Graham is washed up, he got cut and that stings an ego. The oline seems better equipped. The only downfall is the thin RB stable. Even though my faith in football has fallen, I am getting some excitement that has been gone.
  13. Receivers (6): Ted Ginn Jr., Anthony Miller, Darnell Mooney, Riley Ridley, Allen Robinson II, Javon Wims. I am glad the predictions of Wims not making the roster were wrong. He has shown flashes and if Robinson ever has to miss a game or two, he keeps that big target who could ignite.
  14. If he hasn't signed with anyone yet, maybe Tre Robinson comes back.

    Ha Ha opps

Hahahaha! Glad he had quick reactions.
  16. I took some light flak for mentioning moving Daniel's to C. Kmet can play both TE positions, i just figured with Graham he would see more field time as the inline TE.
  17. I think he struggled along with the rest of the oline trying to block the run/pass offense. That is my opinion on why he would not want to play for this staff. As for retired or fired, he must have been told he was getting released and can save embarrassment by retiring which also leaves a bad taste on the staff.
  18. I thought this after drafting Johnson, first thing I researched is Fullers cap hit. I wouldn't have put CB on our highest needs before investigating. He needs to be in the NFLs top 5 to justify keeping him. This is another reason why I look at draft needs going 2 years down the road for needs.
  19. Hard to say he is not that person. We see only small pieces of their life on social media. The latest involved Abbagail Danger donning a Bears viser and pornhub swimsuit on a boat off the coast of Florida. He shared it probably because TMZ already had shots and wanted to blast him. I am sure he is working out, conditioning, and watching film. His position isn't like a FG kicker, basketball shooter, pitcher/hitter that can work on their craft. He had one downfall with missing that game and we may never find out why until his last dance documentary. If they get to play, he should put up big numbers again. Will the numbers be enough to make him All-Pro amongst Mack, Hicks, Quinn, Trevathan, Bojack, Fuller etc is yet to be seen.
  20. One player wipes out 2, basically making it 9 on 11. Hard to win when mistakes are more consistent than positive plays. Hope they can learn their jobs before we have to go through another rebuild.
  21. The videos underneath show the continuation. Basically Miller was not on page, ran the wrong route and ruined a play.
  22. At least he is a bright spot at either. Olin Kreutz thinks he can be an all-star LG. He also thinks he can be an All-Pro at C. That is the reason I wonder if they will take another shot, but this year, like many Bears years are not the time to experiment. They are always against the line to produce
  23. I can see the concerns but he will get reps regardless just so he can slide over if Whitehair goes down. It will be something to watch once they are allowed to practice, which I have a feeling they will be moving out of state to do. They might keep them slated in the same positions for now, but imo the unit would better be suited with the switch.
