I tend to agree. I am a little bummed that Jones went down but I still think we have 2 good serviceable backups. I know alot of people here are down on Wolfe but I believe he will be a good backup in this league provided the team using his skills correctly. Don't just run him straight up the gut every time. Use him on delays, get him into the openfield to catch the ball on screens.
I agree. He was crying over the offseason about how much he should be starting, instead of going out there and doing his job. The job was up for grabs and not only did he lose, he becomes unemployed as well.
Sorry about not getting on earlier, just got home from work. Pix knows me very well. Either day is great with me but I agree that Monday would be best because of not enough time to inform all the other owners.
On a side note does anyone know what happened with the BearsTalk 3 league. We had a full league and then I logged on yesterday to check a few things out and noticed that we only have 2 owners. I even got an email from yahoo about the draft time for that league.
He is in a good situation there with Houston because that have very talented WR's and there starting QB has problems with staying healthy. I bet that Grossman becomes a starter for at least 1 year this year because of an injury to schaub.
I think he could be a disappoint but I think the biggest problem is at RB for them. I like there RB but I don't know if he will be able to handle an entire year being the starter. Also the Oline is very young, could be a big factor as well.
That sure would be a story. The Bears get there QB and make it to the SB right away and GB going from 5-11 to conference championship the following year.
People say that the player was moving very slowly. Well in deed the player was and I doubt if he could have gotten to the player with the ball anyways. If this is true then tell me why Favre turned back towards the guy and was looking and doing that the entire time. He went out of his way to do. I would be all for suspending him and finiing him. But I think it will hurt Favre more to just be fined cuz you know all the other teams have seen this and will be willing to try and knock him out. The problem is the QB's and SOOO protected now by the ref's it will be tough to get away with anything during the regular season.
I could by your statement except for the fact that this isn't the first time Favre has done this. He absolutely enjoys going out there and throwing blocks and there almost always low.
