I agree with starting Bowman.
-
Now you all know that if Cutler doesn't have a good game and we don't win all Chicago analysts and even some fans will be calling for Cutlers head and wishing we never made the trade in the first place.
-
Throws the ball into double coverage to Marshall which was tipped and then caught by Stokley in the last minute to win the game. OMG
-
Someone mark down on the calendar that Michael Strahan just predicted a Green Bay and San Diego Super Bowl. lol.

Great point. Out of those 5, Joe Flacco is the only starter heading in the regular season and he didn't even throw for 3000 yards last year. Everyone that I have seen talk about the Packers talk about this GREAT Defense that they have. I am confused on this. There D coordinator got jacked because there D was atrocious and was ranked worse than we were and we were ranked 25th. Now they are switching to a 3-4 defense and many talk about how difficult it is to make the switch especially considering that they don''t have the personel to run it yet. The drafted Raji because of hi ability to play a 3-4 and become that NT, then he holds out. When he gets into camp he gets injured. I am not even talking about how bad there ST was last year.

I know what you mean. I also haven't seen any so called expert take us to win. I am just loving the fact that we get no love at all.
-
I believe we will see some new stuff just thinking that Marinelli wants to prove he can still coach in this league. I know what happened last year has to sting so he will be looking to prove that what happened last year was the problem with the team and not his coaching ability.
-
It would have been better to keep it out but lets remember that they only have todays practice to think about something out. So I have no problem with it.
-
"If you did something wrong in practice, the worst thing would be to come in the next day and your name's on the board," This was the best quote up there. It sure sounds like he has lit a fire under the arses. I know it was just preseason but we saw a big difference compared to last year.

It seems to work out pretty good this way. We have had several trades this year but in the 2 years that I have been the commish in both baseball and football I have turned down several trades but for the most part they are fair.
-
The trade doesn't involve me as an owner. I am the commish of the league and all trades go through me. I set it up this way because in the past we had 2 owners agree to such a lopsided trade that had 1 person sending a stud and the other team getting a backup in return. This went through because we never seem to have enough owners who actually pay attention to what is going on during the season. I have been slowly trying to fix that. This is the work league that Pix and I are on.

I wanted to get everyone's opinion on a proposed trade in one of my leagues. I have been leaning both ways. T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Brandon Marshall for Torry Holt, Greg Olsen, and Santonio Holmes. BTW this is a PPR league.

Williams Wall Off Scott-Free, But Have Date w/ Karma

This is absolutely bull donkey and I feel horrible for the Saints players now. -
I am not scared of Pittsburgh at all anymore with Troy P out. The Steelers couldn't run the ball to save there life yesterday and in the 3rd quarter they actually used M. Moore there 3rd RB because Mendenhall and Willie Parker just flat out sucked. The announcers last night put it perfectly that with the lack of any running game at all the Defense can just blitz the crap out of Big Ben just knowing that they can't run and he will continue to take a lot of punnishment. I feel bad for Big Ben because he is a good QB but that Oline is just atrocious plus it doesn't help that he hangs on to the ball way to long sometimes which leads to him getting hit so often. I am also not worried about there Defense either because of how good they made the Titans lack of WR look. They gave up way to many big plays and left the Titans WR's wide open to many times. If Kerry Collins goes 22/35 for 244 yards just imagine what Cutler will be able to do if our WR's are able to catch the ball.

Yup your right. I got to caught up in looking at CD avatar. I still can't believe the Pack is favored by 3 1/2. If I had money I would so be betting on that game.
-
According to Betus.com they have us listed as 3 1/2 pt underdogs. This is a bit surprising as this would mean that on a neutral field they like GB by almost a TD.
-
I spoke with a Packer fan that I work with and everything that he has heard so far is that Raji is not ready and Pickett will start but I think what kinda lead to this was the fact that shortly after Raji signed his contract he got hurt. We are seeing this quite bit with players who hold out.
-
I would almost prefer to have Bowman in there instead of Tillman only because Tillman is not 100% healthy. Lets get everything out of Bowman that we can before he gets hurt again.
-
I agree that we need to come out firing right away and take the crowd out of it. I think one of the X factors will be special teams. GB was absolutely atrocious last year on there kick off coverage and I know that unit lost at least 2 games because of that factor. Of course that factor happens to be one of our strengths. I don't think it really matters who is returning the ball. I look for cutler to try and stretch the field right away as well.
-
I guess he was really bothering the coaches until they let him do it. lol I like a guy like him who is willing to do anything to help the team.
-
Thanks for resetting it. I was able to get in this time.
-
He did return a kick during a preseason game as well. Just bowled someone over.
-
I have tried the pswd several times and it doesn't like it.

Just read in this in the Chicago Tribune today. "Rookie defensive end Henry Melton, placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury, didn't look too banged up as he jogged to the practice field to watch his teammates."
