To me, there is a pattern there...... offensive playcalling. To be honest, Martz did better this year than I expected. However, it seemed like in crucial times he tried to revert back to the old Martz blueprint, which didn't work for us all year. That third and three call was insanely bad. At least get a couple yards to set up a fourth and short. However, there was some offensive growth and firepower to some extent. When he called a balanced game, the offense was at its best. Hopefully, year two will be more of a progression.

I think this is a close one, except throw a LB in for one of the WR's.

I think JA picks an OL with the first or second pick unless a higher rated CB falls in the first and we can get value. So I agree with the positions of the first three picks but maybe not the rounds. I'm not sure he will go QB at all. I think a linebacker will be in there in the late rounds because our linebacker depth after free agency will be bad.

Me too. We need someone that will catch the ball consistantly. I dont see Edwards as that guy.

Well, I just think taking into account JA's tendencies would set us up better for a realistic look. Then if he went crazy and actually picked 4 Olinemen, it would be a surprise. Maybe predicting a JA style draft would set the expectations a little better.

I am in agreement that Oline is the first priority. However, I believe its wishful thinking to hope that JA would choose 3-4 olinemen in a draft. I think he would pick 2 at best, probably 1 early and 1 late. I do think we need that WR that ala Vicent Jackson. I also believe we need to start getting some corners who can cover man to man. First to replace Jennings and then to eventually replace Peanut. If Manning goes I think you will see a safety drafted, and I think there is a good possibility that we see a LB/dlineman drafted. I like to see some people make a prediction on what they think JA will do in the draft.

So does this mean we will be drafting a safety?

And folks, the game comes down to Cutler not hitting open receivers early and Martz trying to be a genius late. Good ass ride though. It sucks to lose, but it was a great season.

Like I said earlier, pressure bursts pipes. when the pressure is on, most people revert to what is instinct. This is what Martz has done this game.

Coach, let Martz know that counters and sweeps are not good calls against a speedy GB defense. They should run quick hitting runs with a power game. Coach, also let Martz know that the seven step drops are terrible this game, we need more quick hitting stuff. Thanks, Coach.

Ok the last offense possession. Was it a three and out? One good play call and two bads ones. terrible call on second down and terrible pass by Cutler. Fantastic offense.
