Well basically he was a small receiver playing in a big body. He didn't want to block or really go over the middle. If he couldn't beat you deep, he wasn't going to get it done. He fooled alot of people into thinking he was the second coming of Brandon Marshall. Bye bye.

I agree. I have been calling for an upgrade for three years. Kruetz sucks at blocking in space or when pulling and his penalties are mind boggling. We need a replacement.

Plus the fact that Olsen can't grab jump balls against smaller DB's he goes against. I think a bigger Brandon Marshall type is a need, but not over an OL.

I'm really glad that Martz decided to get crazy with the playbook instead of going conservative that last game. That worked out well.

The only problem with where we are picking and OL might be that all of the kids worthy of a pick will be gone. I dont want us to be so shoehorned in for a pick that we reach for some OL who is not worth the pick when we could get then same type of guy in the second round. Unfortunately, we really do need a Baldwin type of guy to bail cutler out. And also think about the fact that even if the line improves that doesn't mean Cutler will be hit less. Warner still got hit a ton when he was behind a good O line in STl. Its the nature oft he offense.

I pick an O-Coord who, with the season on the line, doesn't call a reverse to our slowest receiver.
