Dude your not in the minority. I'm the one jason is talking about. We had this same argument last year. And for the record, words were put into my mouth as well. Just like in your statement, thing were embellished to aid in the argument. What I said was more along what Nfo is saying because I was tired of the bashing of the coaches left and right. Never said Turner was perfect, just said he wasn't the worst. But I did say that he is better than anybody on this board and I have yet to be disproved.

Good points here. If Wolfe is to be considered a true backup, then he needs to be able to run the whole playbook, including up the middle on third and one. Turner is not nearly as bad as people make him out to be on this board.

I have to agree. These guys are getting real old, real quick. And the Payne's and Steltz of the world need to step up or they are gone. Hopefully we start to see some above average play from Afalava, Roach, Williams, Moore, DM, etc.

The reason is simple. This is Bearstalk. If some of these guys didn't have anything to complain about, they would shrivel up and turn to dust.

I guess McBride hurt his knee and was going to be out 4-6 weeks, per rotoworld. New guy is a 5th round pick of Dallas from Cincy that supposedly can play both CB and safety and is a good special teamer. We will see.

I was talking about the picks. People are getting on the Wr/te for the picks. But they were bad throws anyway. The one to Clark was into coverage anyway. To be honest it probably gets picked regardless. The one to the defensive lineman is stupid bad. If you see a giant guy in the way of Forte don't throw it. The last one I thought could have been called PI cause the corner mauled Knox before the ball was there, but Cutler needs to not throw the ball if he sees the route is jumped. Bottom line...you are the franchise quarterback, you can't be that bad. If it was Rex, all the blame would be on him. As for the rest of the team, I agree with you. The players should be held accountable.

Agreed. Its on the players for me too. Sorry but Cutler f'ed us. Blame the wr, te the routes all you want. Even if the receivers break in Cutler is throwing late, off balance, down the middle of the field into double coverage. Even if those guys break in there is a good chance those are picks anyway. The pick on the screen is terrible because the guy is right in Cutler's face. And on that last defensive call, hell they gambled that GB was running and lost. If they run for a first, the game is over anyway, with a field goal. For all the crap we give the CB's for playing off thats one time when Vasher needed to. To be honest, I was expecting GB score a ton and we pretty much held them in check. So I place this squarely on Cutler. We didn't give up all that stuff for this type of effort so I hope he gets it under control quickly.
