First mock of the year
With depth at ILB depleted with Freeman probably gone and Trevathan oft-injured, I believe this position should be addressed also.

Bears vs. Packers Game Thread
This was the most disgusting performance under this staff to date! I can't believe how flat the defense played and the trend of this team being 0-3 after the bye week under this staff continues! The trend that this team is 0-6 under this staff when they are favored continues. The trend of being out coached continues. The penalties that continue to stall drives continues and that's on this staff! This is a train wreck! Ryan Pace is not without blame also!

Bears (3-4) at Saints (4-2) Game Thread
I agree that we should temper the new coach talk until we see how this team comes out against the packers after the break, This team is 3-5 after playing 3 consecutive road games and went 2-1 in those 3 and should have gone 3 and 0 with a little more discipline and luck in the Atlanta game and Minnesota game this would be a 2 loss team. I will go to my grave thinking Miller made that catch and Fuller wasn't the only guy lined up offsides on the field goal.

Watson Torn ACL In practice!
Not good and we got a guy still standing!

Bears (3-4) at Saints (4-2) Game Thread
If it was said to Dan Hampton why isn't he tweeting it? Just looking at the way the defense played and factoring in the injuries and mistakes on offense and officiating and that is absolute B.S.! Since Hampton comes on the Final Word with Lou Cannelis on FOX 32, what Saints player was he talking with while hear in Chicago?

Zach Miller injury
Mort reporting that Miller is under going an MRI post surgically to see the structure and status of his leg!

Zach Miller injury
Agreed and to put it in perspective Teddy Bridgewater had the same injury without nerve damage and he is just now getting back on the practice field on a limited basis.

Robbie Gould
The bye week should be an endless line of guys in trying out. At this point someone who can make a 48 yard indoors should be the focus. last season 18 of 23 and so far this year 7 of 11.

Bears Defensive Front
The play of the secondary can't be over looked also. The tackling of Fuller, Jackson and Amos, plus the forcing of turnovers are an end result of the front 7 play. Right now the weak link seems to be Amukamara who is repeatedly targeted by the opponents. I'm wondering what Cooper's status is. I thought I saw him on the sideline in uniform.

Zach Miller injury
That was one of the worst leg injuries I have seen and ranks right up there with Tim Krumrie in the Super Bowl and Joe Theismann on the Monday Night game against the Giants.

Traded a 7th for D. Inman, WR (LAC)
We'll see what he can do after the bye week.

I hear he also had sports hernia surgery that he was recovering from also so this is a wait and see for me!

Panthers (4-2) at Bears (2-4) Game Thread
Okay everyone I'm going to give you two names. John Shoop and Ron Turner. Then the stats that were brought up during the game saying that the last 2 QBs that attempted this few amount of passes and win games were both coached by Fox(Tebow and Weinke). Both of the OCs I named were basically ground and pound and this is what we are seeing now with Loggins.

I've been watching Bears football since '66 ! How long you been watching? Don't you ever question how much I have vested in this team!

Yes I can because this is the defensive play we have been waiting for! And you are worried about what could go wrong. Turn off your set!

Post Game Thoughts
There was times during training camp Whitehair was at guard while Long was recovering from injury and that in itself may have something to do with his inconsistency.

Post Game Thoughts
Today 4 members of the secondary had a coming out party Fuller, Amos, Jackson and Callahan. The fact that 3 of the four were drafted by the Bears and the for came as an undrafted FA makes me think Donatell is doing some coaching also Amos looks physically different.

Bears at Ravens Game Thread
Everyone the starting WRs were McBride and Gentry! Both making their first NFL starts. How much acclimated to the play book could they have been?I agree that these are Glennon plays but it seems they spent the entire game trying to buck tendencies, especially with Cohen on the field.
