So with 18 mil in his pocket he could have said F U because its guaranteed and he didn't! He also talked about going through this before, that's not bought that is who he is!

With all the negativity surrounding his play Glennon accepted his demotion with more class and dignity than anyone has in the past other than Kurt Warner when the Giants put Eli Manning in for him. Glennon vowed to help Trubisky any way he can and be ready if called upon again. That's putting team before personal goals magnified.
-
The knock on Trubisky was that he only had 13 starts at UNC and no experience taking snaps under center. If he sat out this whole year he still would have only 13 starts and no snaps from under center next year also and the only way to rid that lack of experience is to actually play. I felt all along when he didn't start the season that this would be the game he would start and I feel confident that he is going in at the right time and should be well prepared for what the Vikings will try to do to him defensively.

My take on all of this was the way Glennon played in the preseason continued in 3 of the 4 regular season games and when allegedly the players went to the coaching staff and asked for this change, the headline might not be to far off. Listening to the Score and AM 1000 all season there was rumblings that the players all along preferred Trubisky over Glennon and Wheaton's comments post game about not having a catch seemed to echo those sentiments.

I have always felt that your top 5 pick should have an impact and when you trade up one slot to get a player obviously you covet him. So why wasn't he put on the field? It was obvious that this resilient young man who waited his turn in college and with the Bears has the perfect demeanor for this team.We all saw it in preseason that he has talent and that whole "snaps under center" argument has always puzzled me with all the one back and Shotgun snaps all NFL teams employ. As for only 13 college starts, well that was 13 more starts than Glennon had in the same span and it showed in the first 4 games. When you factor in that neither had taken a snap in Loggans offense, what logic is that Glennon has more experience. When you see a veteran QB have absolutely no pocket awareness and the coaching staff covering up his shortcomings as a fan you wonder if they think we are all stupid!
-
When you look at the full 22 do you see if they are only doing 1 and 2 man routes with only a RB check down as the only other option?
-
He also wore a headset to here the play calls as he did in game 1. He was quoted as saying he didn't offer much input early in game 1 to Glennon because Mike was doing a great job and knows what to dobut later in the game he was letting Glennon know what the Falcons DBs were doing against certain looks the Bears had. Sounds to me like he is trying to be PC and is just waiting for his turn.

He was on the sideline with a baseball cap on and a clipboard next to Loggins I saw in a couple of shots.

It gets better, allegedly the main reason the play wasn't overturned is because they blew the whistle when he was out of bounds but it wasn't mentioned during the broadcast!
-
Everyone don't let game day emotions cloud your judgement! Yes what he did was stupid but did you expect a half like this?
-
This is why I don't trust Barth!

Don't wake me I'm dreaming 2 TOs in the first quarter!

Points off a turnover!

Muffed punt recovered by McManus!

Based on all the scouts' reports Trubisky is a project because of his lack of starting experience and not taking snaps under center. How many snaps did Glennon take the last 2 years and looks as green as a rookie. He was touted as a guy who took care of the ball and limited turnovers and in the preseason and now in the regular season he has turned the ball over repeatedly. The rookie could do that and it could be used as a teaching moment. If he is not starting by the Minnesota game, which gives the Bears from Friday 9-29 til 10-9 to get him ready and pair down the playbook to his liking, he will not play this year.

First Whitehair with the limited reps in training camp and practice has been shifted around so far which may be a factor in his inconsistent play. The other factor is that teams are loading up the box and bringing blitzes from all angles and again with this line not having a consistent 5 the communication has to suffer. BTW Dontari Poe and Gerald McCoy are tough to line up against for anyone.
-
In essence this is a rookie playing! No recognition of coverage ,blitz and staring down receivers!
-
It's Biscuit time! Why, because he could make these mistakes!

The Steel Curtain of the 70's Steelers made the Tampa 2 where Tony Dungy learned it as a converted QB to safety and then a defensive assistant. Jack Lambert made it work. As good as Urlacher was he was not as good as Lambert.
-
The QB he got his pick six against is in Miami!
-
Colston and Graham. Then mix and match with Cooks now in NE also Sproles was in the mix 5 years ago I believe.
-
Good luck on Alford since he ran the same routes at West Va. as White.

In his first year of eligibility Brian Urlacher has been confirmed as a nominee. He should get in regardless of Ray Lewis also being nominated. They are both HOF players!

I might be missing a play or two .but the only downfield throw I can remember in the game was to Cohen every other attempt was underneath or check downs. Kizer is starting for Cleveland and Watson got in to the the game for the Texans. The Texans are much more playoff ready than the Bears and they are playing their rookie QB .Since we are going to be playing the 2nd ,3rd and PS WRs, why not put the guy in who was working with them and now in practice because under 10 yards per pass attempt leaves no room for the run game.
