I don't know about that. I think Olsen more didn't fit into Martz' scheme so he was sent away as a result.

Well I think there was some catering to Jay in the past; BM, Trestman (the alleged QB whisperer), Cutler wanting and getting QB coach Jeremy Bates. This however I don't see as one of those deals.

I actually don't see this as a catering to Jay. More of a need regardless if Jay was there. Most here, yourself included, said we'd benefit from having a decent SR and Royal is a decent one. Hell maybe he (Royal) would like to work with Brees too? * Edit: Another interesting item in this is that Fox would have firsthand knowledge of him being he has played for SD these last few years.

So I saw some blurb on NFL Network link (I'm not at home to verify) that the Saints are 'shopping several players including Jimmy Graham". WOW! And as I'm looking at the feed something popped up about the Saints and Seahawks are working a deal as we speak for Graham. NO I DO NOT ENDORSE ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM GOING AFTER GRAHAM!!!! Are there any defensive players worth perusing? EDIT: Wow this moved quick. According to Rappaport the deal is near done. Graham and a 4th to Seattle for Unger (Max I presume?) and a 1st.

This a weird "FA frenzy" day. Normally all the big names fly off the board early on but with most of those guys working on contracts for new or continuing teams in the last few weeks the frenzy has turned into a fizzle.

True. Unfortunately he doesn't limit himself to just INT's but also fumbles occasionally. And you're right, it seems he has a knack to make these inopportune choices when in the red zone or where the other team can turn it into a direct score. Good line or no.

Two players does not a team make. They have Willie Young and some pretty young LBs with great talent and potential ahead of them. Maybe if they were to add players like Knighton, Moore and draft Beasly or Gregory you'd be better with it?
