  1. Or Forte or Kyle! Congrats!
  2. Tell me about it! The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I figure what goes around comes around. Or is it "every dog has its day"?
  3. Agree, Connorbear. We have a good shot at the division. But the D needs to quite giving up the 3rd and longs. We lost three games that we were in until the end. Now we need to deal with the injuries and move forward.
  4. Yep. That last drive went a long way to solidifying him as the starter and leader on the O.
  5. Man, I was expecting to get some hyped up banter from you two, but you are in agreement! Me too, for that matter. When we win, and win big, it's good to look back on it the next day!
  6. Well, we have been debating here wether they should sit him due to knee problems, so that has been taken care of. Now, will someone be promoted from the PS to fill his spot this week?
  7. I am definitely in Hass' corner, but bringing him back after four weeks and after dumping Bradley last week sends me another message of confusion on the staff's part. I hope that Hass gets a chance with us now.
  8. Thanks Pix. I think I'll copy the standing and hang it on the wall cause this just can't go on! And especially, thanks for setting up the competition, it's a ton of fun.
  9. He's been doing that for years. It's his money and his team, so he just goes on any whim.
  10. I think I'm glad. But what does this say about the staff's evaluation of talent and keeping Bradley on the roster, then dumping him and bringing Hass to the PS? Seems like a Chinese fire drill!
  11. Agree with the other posters here. Dusty is on a mission and Harrison seems to be, beside Forte, the find of this draft for us. Give Harris a rest.
  12. So much for Bradley stepping up and being our no. 1 WR. Hope Hamilton turns out to be a serviceable pickup, cause Bradley was just wased space after the injuries.
  13. Don't kid yourself. Step back and look at what has happened the last two games. The team has gone into the 4th quarter with leads and lost both times. And allowing Greise over 400 yards passing, think about that! Some D, eh? I know that the O has far too many 3 and outs and fails to get more that 3 pts. when we do get into scoring position, but let's face it, we are not overwhelming anyone with our D this season. And those of us that thought we could win games with solid ST play and strong D are losing the Kool Aide.
  14. Depressingly true. And there are lots of postdrs here who have been hitting on the same thing for more that a year now. If the coaches can't adjust, they shouldn't be coaching at this level.
  15. Without an offense, we are not going anywhere. What happened to all the creativity--you know, Hester getting the snap, etc.- that we heardin the preseason? The teams I am watching now, the Eagles, Cowboys, Packers, are moving all over the place. We are not anywhere near that level.
  16. So Lovie escapes scrutiny? That's aawfully good of you. But I put him at the top of the list. It is his responisbility to get the team through the week and through the games. He is not fulfilling his role, and it is showing with a 1-2 record.
  17. And you know our ole coach 'll come out ans say "shoot, we just couldn't finish." Damn, I'm getting tire of a laid back coach. I know I'm pissed, and I'd expect the guy at the helm should be tearing some new a-holes. But Lovie ain't getting it done as a coach and the team is resonding accordingly. If this lack-a-daisicle approach continues, we ARE goin to b e the worst team in the league. This is not what this storied franchise deserves.
  18. Ha, ha, ha, ha. . . sorry, I can't stop ROTFLMAO!
  19. Come on, there is still Kool Aide available. We've got a long way to go this season and we're only one game out of first.
  20. OMG the voice of reason, Pix! Yes, if Olsen had held on there would only be praise about another mistake-free performance. Unfortunately, Olsen didn't hold on to the ball, exposing the weakness that we have in, for some reason, the passing game not have any luck with the long balls. So, WE are discussing Orton, but you know that Lovie isn't, and shouldn't be, IMdO, even thinking about a QB switch at this point.
  21. Yea, it's far to early to start the QB rotation. Lovie is going to stick with Orton. I just wish they could go downfield a bit more often.
  22. Agree. Turner reverts to ole self. Can't pad the lead and we let a close one slip away.
  23. Depressing loss. Man, we had the ball with second and one and turned it over on downs. Couldn't see the game cause the G-men were on, but kept seeing the score and then we stopped scoring in the fourth. Let them hang around and it cme back to bite us. Forte is the man, thuogh.
  24. Agree. Glad to see tht he's giving us some solid youth on the Oline.
