IMdO, that is exactly what Lovie wants you to do, Madlith! And I agree with you all. Lovie has got the double speak down, and yes, when he says it's execution, he means "the players f#*ked up, not MY scheme."
If we're really sippin' the Kool Aide, we'd say that we have a good shot with these last seven games. And we have been in every game this season, minus the Puckers, of course. But everyone here has follwed the dismal D this season and many of us feel that the sky may be falling. Yes, I do think we'll whoop the Rams, but I've got my doubts that Lovie and his assisstants can right the ship enough to get us to the playoffs. Hope I'm just another wrong fan on that one.
Guess the means that Lloyd has "100%" himslef out of town when the season is over. But, based on Lovie's track record, I doubt we're going to see any of the PS WRs. They'll just be ther in case and then come back for TC next season.
I think it's a good example of the "trickle down" effect. Lovie continues to say we'll do better, that the system ain't broke, that the personnel is very good. What is "trickling down" is the season into the drain. Lovie is a defensive coach. Come on, Lovie, we've been geeting mauled week-in and week-out. First by the pass and then by the run. Earn your $ and show some backbone!
No creativity. Just stick to the system and if it don't work this week, we get a team that it does work against. In-game adjustments? Beyond this coaching staff. Lovie's weaknesses are all too apparent this season. We need help on D, and O also, and the coaching staff doesn't have a clue. There were rumblings of players not being happy last week with the "system". What will happen this week?
And the Puckers! God, can't get hyped for this game? Division is now locked (if Tmapa does come through). We just don't have the coaching to get anywhere in the postseason, if we make it, that is.
this game made me wish that Lovie would say yeas to Tenn. This was the only game we have been blown out this year? If that is true, we are going to hear that all week long. It is like thye just show up and havn't planned anything. Coaching sucks!
We have seven games left to win the division. This kind of sniping in the lockerroom does no one any good. Lovie, I think, has got trouble on his hands.
I can understand not wanting to be hit with stupid penalties. And we have seen our team make them this year with disastrous consequencs. But yeah, there are ways to target players. And yep, I agree, we're soft.
We've talked about the lack of the killer instinct on this D. And the statement supports that view. To be a top D, you gotta want to take it away and score everytime you get on the field. It's sad, cause it appears that the talent is there. So, where is a bit of coaching?
