  1. We would end up paying a tone of $ for what, two, three seasons? And, anyway, we all know this is the black hole of WRs! Get Boldin.
  2. Just read that now a Federal Judge has blocked the suspensions, saying he needs more time to look at the league's and players' cases. So, these guys will be on the field this Sunday at least.
  3. Oline, Oline, Oline! That's my wish list! Tait looks like he's getting old, so another OT and a G this time. We ned to solidify the trenches for a long time to come.
  4. Could be possible. Then again, I wonder how the Comish woould feel if he suspended them for regular season games and they end up going to the Super Bowl. Players who would have been suspeneded playing in the top game? Now that would make the Comish and league look stoooopid!
  5. Thanks for the quick oversight Pix.

    DOOOOOHH!!

Man, the computer is as dopey as me this morning! Please, one of the admins, drop the senseless copies of my post.
  7. Dam McNeil at the SunTimes offers some advice for future Bear dealings: http://www.suntimes.com/sports/mcneil/1313...T-mac04.article Sounds just too logical. Doh!!
  8. Because Wilf knows that, without the Williams boys his D will be no better than ours. So the owner is pulling out all the stops to keep them for the playoof run. Just take a look at how Wilf went with them both to the commish's hearing. Now I'm not so sure that what they did was so criminal, but if Goodall and the NFL are going to be consistent, then they do need to be suspended. I'm just pissed it took the league so long to get around to it.

    New DE

Trib reports: "The Bears re-signed defensive end Joe Clermond to the practice squad Tuesday. Clermond entered the league with the Bears this season as an undrafted free-agent out of Pittsburgh." Now the DL is solidified. Now we are going to kick butt! NOT!
  10. You said it Madlith, Bennet is just another draft pick that the coaching staff has no clue about using. He couldn't be any worse that the palookas we already have at WR, could he? Why not take a look-see?
  11. The league sure took its sweet time with due dilligence. I hope the Lions knock them off!
  12. I'm frustrated with Lovie, mostly 'cause win or lose, he's just going back to a normal day at the office. Turner defies logic. Sometimes he'll call a good game, then, what is to me like a majority of times, he will out-think himself and end up with nothing. That pass play on first and one was a great example of trying to outsmart an opponenet and having it blow up in your face. IMdO, Babich is the only guy who is going to be canned when the season ends. He makes a great scapegoat and the rest of the staff will stick around while the McKaskeys look like they have done something. It's just too bad, because we have some solid personnel on the field, but we all know that windows of opportunity are fleeting.
  13. Not in the firt round, please. No oline=no passes. It all starts up front.
  14. But if you're afraid of a takeaway, then you get cautious and just give up. Lovie is so anti-Ditka/Buddy Ryan it is nauseating.
  15. I'm starting to think they don't even have a box that they can think in. Dam. We get the ball on the one yrd line and it turns out to be a Berrian TD, game over. Lovie should have resigned right there or committed hari kari, along with his honorable staff!
  16. Exactly. Hell, if we were going to run at their strength, then do it ALL four downs and use our best back, not the guy just pulled up from the PS. And why can't we bring in a big DL, ala Frig Perry, to lead block?
  17. Watched the first half, until Berrian caught the ball and. . .Turned off the TV and went to sleep. But I did notice Davis on the field for some plays. I forgot we even had him. What a sick group of WRs.
  18. This will probably be Davis' shot at the big time. Lets hope he pounds the Wall!
  19. Great news! Now, we need to take are of business. I sure hope that Orton is healed and that the D can get the stops that we are going to need. Let's take over this division tonight!
  20. While a win is a win, I'm hoping that we can finish off the Queens early. The game starts late on TV here, at 10:00pm and I really want to go to sleep a bit early knowing we got this one in the bag.
  21. Just as perceived earlier. See ConnorBear's post.
  22. Why a bad dream? Marinelli was excellent with the Bucs, and he was someone that Lovie wanted from the get-go. Or should we stick with Babich?!
