  1. Watch, they're going to sign a ton of OGs and OTs as UFA after the draft. I'm not sure that I agree with all the CBs taken and A TE?
  2. IMdO Turner is pass first and then run. Lovie talks about running the ball, but it's just talk. And with Benson back there 3.4 yards ain't gonna make you a running team. Williams was, for me, the right pick. He can be plugged into LT now whereas some of the other guys on the board would have needed more development for LT. Boring pick, but the right one. And if we can give Orton or Rex some time who knows?
  3. Aren't the first 3 rounds on Saturday?
  4. Just got a bit warmer down here with your "scenic" post!
  5. You in trouble, CC? From me? No way!!! It's good to see you're here and posting!
  6. Good. Now lets see how they arrange this bunch of WRs. Kind of scary when you look at who we have. But, as a Kool Aide chugger,
  7. I think with the way bonuses and salaries are going up for as-yet-to-be-proven rookies, that this should definitely be adresses in the next CBA. It's just rediculous how much these kids get when they havn't played a down of NFL football.
  8. Yes, I'd be upset. Brohm is not a value at 14. One of the OTs are. I want OL witht he first pick!
  9. Gotta say that I am leaning toward Williams, just because what I've read says he's more an LT prospect. But your info on Otah makes me feel a bit better if we do get him. Most important for me is for us to shore up the Oline, and fast.
  10. Can't see JA trading UP. Me thinks that he stays at 14 and grabs the best OT that is still there. Although the run on OL could be early, then we may be looking at someone else. But I hope not.
  11. Good find on the quotes, BearSox. Could be telling in this draft.
  12. Maybe now they'll have to give him more reps. And I agree about WR coaching, it sucks!
  13. Thinking outside the box, as usual, Nfo. I like the concept. But wow, that's gonna be a ton of signing bonuses for as-yet-to-be-proven talent.
  14. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm yawning! Come on Url, just make sure you're in shape when TC rolls around.
  15. I'd take that draft, but put me in the line with all the "Brohm won't be there" guys.
  16. Gives me a good shot at seeing Da Beloved play on TV down here!
  17. I hope the Fins sign him and soon. And that it is a deal lower than last year's no. 1. I also read that with the time cut this year in every pick, teams will be looking to arrange their trades ahead of time. That would make me happy as things always take until teams get on the clock.
  18. Agree. Ryan will never win any social graces award!
  19. You're probably right Nfo. Wolfe probably will always be a third down back. And I just can't see us gettig rid of our best ST player in AP, especially after wer lost some guys in that unit. Benso is going to get another chance this year to prove he can do it. And I think the speculation about drafting an RB on day one comes from all those who have written Benson off as a bust. I don't think Lovie or JA have done that yet.
  20. Well presented jason. You are preaching to the chior here. I would like to see us pick up an RB AFTER getting OL as Benson's latest injury may necesitate another RB in the mix.
  21. And you know there isn't a snowball's chance that JA is going to trade up that far to get him. Mendenhall would be a great addition, but I'm in the camp that says we gotta have Oline help and if one of the big OTs are there at 14 I want us to take him.
  22. It all starts in the trenches. We need an OL upgrade in the worst way. Either trade up and get Long, hope Clady makes it to 14 or trade down and take Otah, Williams or. . . .
