You are spot on with the Oline. It has been a sore spot for this team for too many years. Hopefully Tice can get them on track. If they keep playing like they have this will get ugly real quick. We may see Collins by week 4. As for the D: I hope the LB's are being rested just to make sure they are good to go for the Regular season. The scheme is the same as it has always been so they dont really need that many snaps to get ready for the season. The big question for the D will be that front line. I have high hopes that Peppers and Harris both have Probowl years. If that happens the Secondary wont be picked apart as years past and the LBs will make more plays. We have to get pressure with the front 4 to have a chance. Peppers has looked like a beast this preseason so lets all hope that continues this regular season.

i can respect the fact that the Dline can tee off and is a more vet group. Im more concerned with why Cutler was getting frustrated. Is it cuz the Oline just have no idea on who they are suppose to be blocking and that is causing them to miss blocks or is it that their talent level will not allow them to keep up with our Dline? Hopefully it is the scheme and not the talent level. I can understand learning a new scheme will take time and the Dline should be ahead of our Oline.

It is simple fundamental football. IT ALL STARTS UP FRONT!! Why is it still being overlooked??? Unless you have a Walter Payton you need a good oline! I hope they can put a good unit out there this year. Mike Tice you got some work to do!!

Ill try to be as accruate as i can, One top level NFL guy said he would be willing to bet that BM is a Bears by training camp. Also was stated by a different NFL guy that Denver will try everything in their power to not let BM go to the Bears because of fear how good that would make Cutler look, making the Cutler trade look bad upon the Denver front office Coming out of the Pepper camp is that he likes the Bears. Only road block would be Washington getting invloved, cuz they will drive the price up. I wonder if the Bears make a play for Peppers knowing that he could play in a 3-4, just in case the Lovie camp does not turn this around. Nothing mentioned about Rolle or Kampman.

The development of Adams is very important to the turn a around of the Bears. It took a 2nd rounder to get him. We can not afford a bust of a 2nd round pick again. How many 1st and 2nd round bust can one team have. I never understood the Bazuin(CMU) pick. There is no question the guy is a speed freak, put some strength on him and teach him some pass rush moves and he may turn out. Im not saying i like the trade but we are stuck with him now. I dont think Lovie will be fired, unless we lose the last 3 games. Then maybe Lovie gets fired. I do think someone will have to take the blame and it will be Turner. Bring in Weis or Bates. I like Weis because he was around the NE operation and knows how it was ran. He should have insight on how NE made their decisions and why.

I agree with you, i was just holding out hope that our coaches would get something out of him. Marnelli is suppose to be a great Dline coach. JA had won me over with the Cutler trade but is starting to get me to question him again. 1 not getting a WR in here 2 thinking the oline was going to be ok and now this trade. Cutler trade=would do 100 times over Signing Pace= are you kidding me Oylmalye= r u kidding Gaines= keeping my fingers crossed but maybe a 3rd would have been better Also keeping my fingers crossed that Williams plays well at LT and Schaffer proves to be servicable!

I understand that Gaines was traded for because of Wale prolly being gone after this season. I understand the whole "giving up a 2nd for a top 5 pick " idea. What i dont understand is JA thinking getting another DE is so important while our oline is such crap. Would have been nice to get a OL in the 2nd round, typically you can find a OG in the second that would be able to play right away. Now we find out that Gaines is inactive and it is prolly because he isnt put out much effort. If this is the case then i will be pissed off. Completly agree.....bush league. What is point of causing drama between Cutler and himself. I dont get it. There is no reason for any these comments. I love that Warren Sapp told him to keep his mouth shut.
