Agreed. I am really shocked to see so many people so upset about it. Like I said I played in high school games where we had the standard leather high school ball and the other team used a rubber ball. Had we lost that game I would never have thought to blame it on the ball. Im not sure any ball was ever checked for psi in high school or college. Does that mean I was cheated if a team used a lower psi ball?????? I dont think so Ill tell you this much and I think most football players would agree, Putting blame on losing a game because one team had a pound less psi in their ball would sound like a SORE LOSER. If this wasnt the Pats this wouldnt be such a big deal. The one game they caught doing it was the INDY game. They corrected the balls and what did Tom Brady and the Pats do in the 2nd half???? They blew the Colts out of the water with the 12.5 PSI footballs.........Man that psi made a huge difference.

Thanks. I think its a bluff. You already got the cloud over his head now put it out there that he wont sign. It would allow him to become a FA if not drafted. Not sure what types of contracts he can sign, is it better than a 4th to 7th round draftee??? If he gets drafted i think he will sign for a couple of reasons: 1. There is no guarantee that he will get drafted higher than the first 3 rounds next year after sitting out a year 2. This is about money, well dont sign dont play he will make zero 3. the real money comes after your rookie contract, waiting one more year just puts that out even farther.

I'll give you Pace created an extra hole by trading BM, but thats it. I didn't agree with getting rid of him. Clearly his actions and headaches caused were too great to keep him around or else why would you get rid of him. It has been said that the Bears told Pace BM had to go, which i hope was not the case as Pace is suppose to have total control. As for switching scheme and the center comment, it was time to move on. You hire one of the best DC in the game you go with his scheme. Garza was terrible last year, it was time to move on. You want a team to have sustained success you improve the Oline and Dline. With this draft he added a possible game changer with the first pick. The Bears needed a speed WR, he added a 4.3 guy that still has size and strength. A lot of time you get a WR with speed but wont be 6'3 or have strength. Next he went Dline and Oline which Im all for, adding youth to these areas while improving play will be huge.

If they draft him and he gets cleared couldn't they give him 1st or 2nd round type of money ?

Pace's first already looks better than Emery's. Granted he drafted higher. SMC - sad but he is a bust. I had hoped he would pan out Alshon- wanted him in the 1st, Emery traded up to get him....good job Hardin - did he even play a down?????

Day 2 First round was easy, White is a guy everyone was high on. 2nd round will be tougher, just hoping there will not be a Dan Bazuin type pick! Would be happy with Collins, Fisher even Gregory with the question marks. With Gregory I'm banking on Fox and company coaching him and mentoring him. Jared Allen could help mentor him too!
