Sorry I didn't read the previous post to see others already had made similar statements. I really hope for the sake of the Bears that Cutler and Co get this O going in the right direction. ' For the most part Cutlers numbers are great, its literally one to two plays a game or every other game that needs to be eliminated. INT are going to happen, if the O were to be performing in the 2nd half like they do in the first half this wouldn't even be a debate.

yep Rex Grossman beat the GB...had nothing to do with the amazing Defense and Special teams WINNING all of those games.

That's a good one...Got a good laugh..... The same Good Rex or Bad Rex that the Chicago Media talked about every week. The same Rex that didn't do anything to help win the super bowl, actually threw a pick to set the Bears back in the SB. Rex was on a great team that made it to a SB. He was not the reason they went to the SB. The team lost the SB and Rex didn't do anything in the SB to change the outcome. If you don't want to admit Cutler is a better QB the Sexy Rexy so be it.

I said in another thread that something needs to be done about the difference in Offensive production in the 2nd half. One thing that has been drilled into my head from High school and College football Coaches.... The Numbers never lie. The Offense looks great at times and shit at times. Its averaging out to the numbers you see. Shit the O put up 500 total yards against the Pack.... Just couldn't get points after the first half with a no point trip to the endzone at the first half and a penalty taking points away from the O in the second half on one drive. The O (including Coaches and players) need to perform better, especially in the 2nd half. If Cutler can eliminate one WTF play a game and the O pick up their play we will be alright. Do you forget some of the Horrendous performances Cutler put up while under Martz and Tice....... Night and day from then and now.

Cutler is soooo close its not even funny. If he could eliminate just one INT per game it would make a world of difference. Here is two stats I think tell where he is headed. Year Completion % and QB Rating 2009 60 and 76.8 2010 60 and 86.3 2011 58 and 85 2012 58 and 81 2013 63 and 89 2014 68 and 94.9 So far after 5 games Cutler is at a 95 QB rating, the highest he has ever had. Before Trestman I remember many games he would put up a 50 QB rating. His low is not any where near the low he had in years past. If he can just cut down on 1 or 2 plays a game everything will be great. This last game 78% completion rate almost 300 yards with 2 TD's and 1 rushing....The two INT makes this game look like it was horrible but it really wasn't a horrible performance. Cutler just needs to eliminate 1 to 2 WTF plays a game and he will be golden.

Cutler =has to limit his mistakes, no doubt about it but its not all him.

I have long defended Cutler for a couple of reasons 1. Shit OC in Martz and Tice 2. No oline- he got his brains beat in for about 3 or 4 years 3. No Weapons- Hester was the number 1 WR for the first couple of years 4. Last year the Stats looked good then he got hurt- 5. Different OC every year This year I said it before the season started : there are no more excuses..... He has the right OC and scheme, has a good Oline (barring any injuries) and has plenty of Weapons. Granted the Oline has now had three starters hurt but as a whole the Oline has looked OK. The Oline looked like shit the couple of series this last game tho. So far Cutler has looked great and has looked like crap. Now his crap has not looked as bad as years past but each of the last two games he has made some bad choices. Trestman has gotten Cutler better, Im still hoping Cutler makes that final jump to taking the unnecessary INT's out of his game. Even if you take one INT away from each of the last two games Cutler's performance would look so much better. INt are going to happen, its just limiting them to 1 a game and not 2 or 3. If Cutler keeps up the same shit for the rest of the year I will stop defending him as there are no more excuses.

The Bears were score for score with the Packers in the first half. I feel we had some shitty calls go against us and two turnovers in the second half. GB didn't make any mistakes, sooner or later the calls will go our way and maybe next game our D creates two turnovers.

Now he is buying Cutler from what he has heard from his inside sources and game film. Greg Cosell said Cutler is a See it Throw type QB....... That is not a newsflash, that has been said for many years by many people including Trent. I do not take what Trent says as gospel; but when he rips a QB every chance he gets and then changes his tune Ill believe it. Does Jay have to cut down on the bone head plays, yes but I think he is doing everything he needs to to make that happen. I think what Trent was saying in whole is that once Cutler cuts the bone head plays out he will be in the Elite group of QB's, as of right now he is in the Top 10. Trent didn't want to use the word Elite....he said premier. Ill take top 10 any day, we had bottom 10 for so long top 10 feels pretty good!
