  1. If the redskins feel like overpaying for Jackson then I say bid the price up and walk away. There is no reason to try too outbid the redskins, look how much they over paid to move 4 spots
  2. the Andre Johnson was just the tip of the iceberg with this douche, he was constantly starting stuff with our WR when we played the Titans the last time and if you watch other games he is in he is always doing the same bullshit. Johnson is just the biggest name to whoop his dumbass in a game. I do like a more physical CB and would be an upgrade to what we have now so there i would agree. I do not like the way he plays the game with his cheap shots and dirty play.
  3. Congrats to the Rams, good job, wait great job. to drop 4 spots you get 2 new 1st rounders and a 2nd. I mean wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!! If Blackmon drops to the Rams i will laugh my ass off.
  4. Actually isnt it the other way around?? the Bears do not play a ton of bump and run. a premium is not put on the CB in Lovies Defense. I like a more physical CB and like distrupting timing between QB and WR. I would loike anyone other than him. I hate Finfag, i would hate him signing with the Bears.
  5. Does finfag think he is or lebron or wade??? I don't want him and there is no reason to package them.... He is just trying to get pub
  6. 1 report says 3 firsts and a 2nd Other says 2 1st and a 2nd Either way screw that
  7. Holy moly!!! Sorry to move from 6 to 2 that is waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too much!!! Dumb shit!!! Browns and redskins really drove the price up. Makes the jay cutler trade look a whole lot better
  8. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id...ants-cap-relief This is what confuses me, says they get cap room but manning gets paid the same.?
  9. My question is who is going to get more money Vjack or Colston?? If one is going to be way cheaper and that allows the Bears to go after another big time FA then i would be good with going after the lesser option. But good news Vjack is going to be option
  10. I see Colston happening and would love Williams. Is there going to be enough cap space for both guys?
  11. read on espn if he does not restructure his deal they will cut him, lets hope he says no to that
  12. EMERY is a mutha freaking genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. OK i get what you are saying. So all the teams can only pay up to the cap limit with salary and bonus being averaged per year. there is no way to spend more then the cap?
  14. Chicago Bears Ranked 5th in ticket price in NFL In the 2nd biggest market Bottom 5 of player spending But they are going to raise ticket prices??? Can someone please explain player spending and how the players contracts count against the cap?? IF a player makes 10,000,000 a year but gets a 5,000,000 bonus does the 15,000,000 count against the cap? or is it the 10,000,000??? Are there teams spending 150,000,000 a year on players but because the way the contracts are written only count 115,000,000 against the cap?? Anyone that could explain how all this works i would greatly appreciate it being in the top 2 markets and top 5 in tickets prices(even tho we are in one of the smallest stadiums in the NFL, one reason they actually made the stadium smaller was to have more corp boxes which are a premium money ticket) does it not make sense that the Bears at least be in the top 10 of player spending????
  15. OK so right now the word on the street is Bowe will be tagged, Floyd may have just gotten out of reach for us at 19. Those were two of my faves, Bowe is a beast and being an ND fan i have watched alot of Floyd over the years so i think he will be good(hope money and booze does not get the best of him). So far Vjack is still an option and whatever is left to draft at 19 or the second round. After vjack and bowe the FA WR go down a notch in talent. speculation is Vjack will be overpaid for, which sucks but may have to be an option So Im hoping bad news does not keep coming, I am excited to see what happens in the next two months.
  16. If the money worked i would like that FA and Draft. Then in the 3rd go D.
  17. Tampa has 67 million, WTF!!!! lol When does the new rule that teams have to spend a certain percentage of the cap each year come in affect?
  18. That sucks because the article i read pretty much said Carr or Bowe not both. So it looks like they are going the chearper route with the CB position and going to go after Bowe with a long term or Franchise him.
  19. Agree, not a top tier FA WR. But doesnt mean the Bears wont go after him. I dont think he will get that kind of money either
  20. This article says roughty 20 million on cap space. We have heard 50, is the 30 million include the hold over or whatever they are calling it?
  21. I have not really thought about the Reggie Wayne option, has anyone watched his play last year?? I did not but would like any insight on his play. I know he had shit qb play but he still had 75 rec, and 960 yds. Not bad for a wr with whats his name playing qb.
  22. I think I would be happy with this off season playing out like this 1. Sign Randy Moss- if his workout is great and he is in great shape, won’t cost too much 2. Sign Mario Williams- will cost a lot, but with not breaking the bank on a FA WR this could be done 3. Sign Matt Forte- franchise or sign a long term deal 4. Draft Floyd with the first pick- we need to get more than one WR in here to produce 5. Sign a free agent Olinemen- if possible to upgrade and not break the bank 6. Cut Frank Olymile(sp???)- the guy is taking up cap space and a roster spot= worthless 7. Draft in the 2nd round an Olinemen or CB 8. Draft vice versa number 7 9. With the second pick in the 3rd draft the best player no matter what position, we need to get to a point where we are able to do that with every pick This way we upgrade the O with a 2 wr’s and upgrade the D greatly with Super Mario. We get a proven vet WR that could have 2 years left in his tank and we get a young WR in Floyd. If Moss does not turn out we still have Floyd for the now and future. With Knox being a huge question mark I don’t feel one WR will do the trick, we need to add more than one WR.The FO needs to upgrade the Dline, by doing so you take the pressure off the D backfield as well. Look at NYG. Also you add some help to the Oline, lets not forget we are getting Carmi and Williams back from IR which should help greatly too. You guys tell me is this unrealistic??? I know there are different Cap space totals out there right now but with not going after a top tier FA WR can we make a run at Mario Williams and Randy Moss while signing Forte??
  23. He looked good in the bowl game before he was thrown out for fighting.
  24. Him showing up that big really shows what kind of guy he is, the most important couple months of your life and you are going to pack on an extra 20 lbs of fat really makes no sense. You would think his guy would be cutting weight now to get as quick and fast as possible! I was hoping he was going to put up good numbers being that he could be there when we draft but prolly not going to happen now.
