Now that Martz is gone how many think Olsen was a good trade? I hope that whoever we pick with that 3rd pick brings as much value as Greg did.

V jack looked great in games this year and looked like he quit in others. When he is on he is great, 28 years, we need him and like others have said another young wr in the draft

Out of all the names I have heard the 2 I like the most are Decosta and Mckensie.

This is one of the names that i am interested in. Now it is soley based on what i have heard from espn and the score. Does anyone have any idea on how much say he had in the draft for GB? Ted mentioned in his presser that they already have a list, i hope they get moving on that list quickly!! I would think the Bears would be a more interesting destination then Oakland, Oak has new coach that most likely wont be fired with the hire of a new GM. Reggie's daughter goes to Wheaton College- 30 to 45 mis away from Lake Forest instead of being 6 hours away from Oak. If the Bears want him i would think we could get him. Reggie also has a good relationship with Lovie as well which also could be in the favor of the Bears!

1. The easy one- JA is gone!!!!!!!! 2. Not so sure about -Martz is gone, sounds like there was a divide in the front office lovie, JA and Martz, for Cutler i am on the fence with this one 3. We have the QB- any up and comer will see that the hardest part is done, the QB spot is set 4. We have the RB- as long as they resign him, from Clayton on Espn the difference was 2 million so not far off 5. We have a good core of Defensive players to add around and be really good for a couple of years 6. We were 7- 3 before Cutler went down- imagine if the oline and wr groups are upgraded 7. We have a 1st,2nd and two 3rd's in this draft that a new GM can really put his name on and start the new era 8. There could be some good FA's in area's of need for the Bears 9. Two of our first round OL will be back and hopefully healthy 10. The Bears have shown that they do not make knee jerk reactions- they gave JA 11 years, potential GM's can have a good feeling that as long as they do somewhat well they will have job secruity. I know Lovie is staying and that could be a thing that makes potential GM's stay away but i think there are too many good things to really keep a good GM from coming to the Bears! This is not a total rebuilding project, a few key additions through FA and a couple of hits through the draft and a new GM could make a name for himself.

Maybe Jeremy bates would be willing to take a shot, he got fired from sea last jan and I don't think he is working right now. At least his Wikipedia didn't say he was working now

After thinking about it, why would Ted Phillips fire JA and then hire Ruskell?? Now if JA retired then maybe it would make sense to promote Ruskell. Update on the score= No one is safe as of now. I guess it said on the Bears website that there would be no more changes, that has now been taken down.

There is a guy up in GB that is a hot name, i guess Oakland has been trying to hire away. Not sure what his name is. I guess from the Score he does not want to leave GB because of his family. Does not want to move them that far. Maybe Chicago is not too far!!!!

Bill Polian is very hands off or has been the last 2 years, Chris his son was the one running the show. From the score Irsay ordered Polian to fire his son Chris and he said he would not do it.

After his bowl game performance there is zero chance of him falling in this draft. It will cost a pretty penny to move up and draft him, esp after falling to the 19th pick. I would love him on the Bears but dont see it happening. It would cost too much. We need young talented depth and the only way to build up depth is through the draft. We need all the draft picks we can get.

WOW!!!!!!!!! Lets hope this is change for the better. Hopefully George watched or talked to Rocky from the Blackhawks. Bears must go out and get the best the market has to offer!! Dont hire from within unless there is no one better. The Cubs went out and did the right thing by hiring Theo. Cmon Bears do the right thing!!!! The Bears are at a crossroad right now, anymore blown FA signings or draft picks can and will put this franchise back another 5 years. We have the QB, we have or should i say maybe have the RB(if they cant work out a deal i hope they franchise Forte). We have the core of a D that with a couple of tweeks can be good to great. Now all we need is a WR some olinemen and some depth and we should be good to go!!! Lets hope the grass is greener!!!!

Do u know who the 4 or 5 wr's are??? Check to see if they are projected first rounders? Check to see if there is a big drop off from the 3rd to the 4th. Winning that game did nothing but drop us in the draft. Nothing positive . Oh wait we get to brag about beating the Vikings. It's like bragging about beating a 4 year old at chess!!
