would really need to know who made the draft day decisions and FA decisions the last 4 years. I thought i saw somewhere that the last 4 drafts have not proved to be good at Indy. Granted everyone in Indy may have gotten lazy due to Manning making them seem better then they really where. I would be hard pressed to believe that. Both Polians had to have know that their talent was drying up.

Im not sold on Polian, mainly due to his age and the problem that could arise with trying to bring his son who clearly is being made the scape goat for Indy's problems. Does Polian still have it in him to put the effort that needs to be put forth to be a great GM?

I can live with Tice and Bates doing a combo OC job with Tice the head man in charge.

Snead out of ATL is being sought by the Rams and Colts as well, hopefully the Bears at least get a chance to interview him.

Mckensie and Decosta off the board blows!! This is really not going how i had hoped. Oak get his guy interviewed and hired before we even have a chance to offer anything. Not sure if the Bears even asked him to interview. Hope they got some tricks up their sleeves.

After reading the article it should say favorite and not frontrunner. Other teams are interested and it says he has past at other Gm positions because he likes his situation at the Ravens.

V jack wont most likely. So a V Jack and one of these guys would be great. We have seen what Cutler can do with a big WR like Marshal. Put two on this team and we could really have something. Getting two out of this bunch may be greedy but I can wish!!!

He had good not great numbers. He had better numbers then Kellen Davis but Kellen didnt have Cutler throwing to him for the last 5 games. Lets hope Kellen Davis can up his production next year and we can draft someone in the 3rd that helps out next year.

I didnt even think about it like that, hire Bates and Cutler will already know the system or at least most of it. That would be huge. I take Bates believes in the same run scheme as Shanahan?? The same scheme that turned out 1,000 yard rusher after 1,000 yard rusher??? Bates has been sitting on his couch since last Jan after being fired by the Seahawks, maybe he wouldnt care that a new GM is coming to town.

Not shocking, Cutler was getting his brains beat in every week playing in Martz system. Who would want to keep doing that?? Only a person with a serious mental problem would want to keep doing that. Well i hope the OC hire happens quickly so they can start learning a new playbook.

Greg Olsen was a great pass catching TE, he was moved due to him not fitting in the Martz scheme, now Martz is gone. Look at NE, GB, NO they all use the TE and get alot of great production out of them. Give Cutler a true #1 WR and Olsen would have been even more productive. Hopefully you are right, Kellen Davis needs to step it up this year!

Listening to the score this morning it was said that both Reggie Mckensie and Brian Acosta would be interested in the Bears GM job. That was said after the "lovie will be the Bears caoch in 2012" comment. So hopefully having Lovie stay next year wont keep guys away. I do agree with you about a Good WR or Ol will be good in any scheme you run.

Do we all agree that JA has failed as a GM???? I think so, Lovie has not done that bad with the talent he has been given. Now the only question i have is how much say did Lovie have on draft picks?? Either Zac or Hub have said that Lovie was the reason for a couple of draft picks ie Ban Bazuin(one of the worst picks in the last 10 years). If Lovie was the reason then he needs to be taken out of the Draft day decisions. If the new Gm brings in some real talent and Lovie fails then get him out of here.
