  1. i think he is better then Stelz, but would be happy with Merriweather and Harris back there
  2. I have not heard.Has anyone seen or heard anything about the injury report this week??? I cant watch another game with 20 at safety. He is terrible in my best Sir Barkley voice.
  3. I was reading on ESPN question and answer http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/chicago/chat/_/id/40418 somewhere in there it says that with the Martz system there are enough options with routes that there is no need for a audibles. Not that i agree but that is the reasoning
  4. reminds me of what happened to David Carr, not that Carr is as talented as Cutler. The constant beating Cutler is taking here in Chicago will if not already ruin him. There was one year Rodgers took a beating when their Oline was hurt but you cant have that happen every year. Also look at the WR's and TE that Rodgers has to work with it. It is a shame the group of WR the Bears are putting on the field right now. I was hoping that being the 2nd year of the same system was going to prove to be a huge advantage, WR's knowing the routes and reads better, Oline knowing the who and where to block better, Cutler knowing the reads better but none of that has happened so far. Im really starting to worry. I hope Gabe and Louis get back quickly and Roy Williams proves to be a good pick up.
  5. I told myself that 1-2 would not be that bad considering who we were playing. I really have a bad feeling about this season right now tho. I hope that changes next week. 1. Martz is not calling the same type of game that won so many games last year. 2. Oline is suppose to be a better run blocking group but we cant and dont run the ball. 3. Cutler really threw some horrible passes yesterday, passes that could have changed the whole game. Hit Williams on that Fly route instead of the INT we are talking about a whole different ball game. Is the beating he took last week and all last year getting into his head? 4. Roy Williams is turning out to be a joke. I hope its the injury and he can prove to be a wise pickup. Injuries can throw people off track.
  6. Hey guys, a couple of questions for ya as i was at the game and it is not always easy to see what went wrong on some plays(may have had something to do with the amount of Beer i drank). 1. Stelez(sp?) he seemed to be out of postion on some of the passes espically the TD to Finley i think the last one to him. 2. On some of the run plays that were tackles for loss it looked like Williams missed his blocks while pulling? Why did the run game look so shitty? 3. From my view there were alot of passes were waaaayyy off, esp the INT when Roy Williams was going up the sideline in the first half. Cutler threw for 300 yards but threw a lot of crap passes. Did his passes look as bad on tv as they did live? 4. Overall it looked like Cutler had time to throw this week did you guys see the same thing?
  7. When I read this I literally shit, puked, shit, then puked again. This is some real dumbshit

i know wikipedia is not always the best but it said 6 to 16 weeks....FML
  10. I dont think anyone will argue the fact that JA and CO have missed way more then they have hit on draft picks in the 1st,2nd,3rd. You gave a perfect example of Dan Bazuin, imagine a OG or OT being used for that 2nd pick instead of a DL that never saw a down. What is the name of that jerkoff that jumped out of a pool?? There ya go another Olinemen that we could have used to protect Jay Cutler. The fact is if you want to have a good team you have to at least have your 1st,2nd and 3rd draft picks play. Im not saying they have to be studs, you would hope but at least play. Hester has been a great pick when it comes to special teams. Briggs and Tilman have been great. But way too may busted picks. End of story
  11. when did he tear the labrum? was it during training camp? if so its hard to say, you never can say that he would have torn that had he signed with us.
  12. Also i am hoping Gabe is not hurt to badly. We cant afford to go thro the season with Frank whateverhisshittyassnameis.
  13. Because it is sooooo true. It really is a shame tho. After watching the Bears i watched NE/SD game. There is such a differenece in the amount of time Brady and Phillips have to throw the ball. Really i would roll with these WR's if we had a great oline. For the whole would be better with Orton, imagine how many sacks the Bears would have given up if we still had Orton!!! Old Cement shoes Orton
  14. I think the writing is on the wall, Briggs knows he only has a couple of good years left and now is better then later to ask for a raise. Url knew it and that is why he went after more money. Url got 18 mill more and added a year. That is a whole lot of money. Briggs will be 34 at the end of his contract if he doesnt push now he will have less and less bargaining power as the years go by. Is it right, prolly not but if we were in his shoes we would be doing the same thing. I tell you what, it will be a sad day in Chicago when Url and Briggs are done. Peppers too. So i say enjoy the next 2 or 3 years cuz that is prolly all we got with all three. I hope they can make it longer but you never know
  15. Preseason is nothing to worry about, just like if Roy Williams was out there tearing it up i would be saying lets wait to see when it matters. Saying I told you so when it comes to roy Williams not being great, do you really want a pat on the back for callin that out?? We all know he has sucked, other then the time with Martz. I think most Bear fans are hoping that he turns it on in a system that he has succeed in before, not to mention he really is playing for a contract next year. If he wants to be in the NFl next year he better do something this year. As for the Olsen trade, i still dont like it but at the end of the day had they not gotten the ball to him this year he would have walked and the Bears would have gotten nothing out of it. Johnny Knox- i hope them putting Williams in front of him lights a fire and he earns his sopt back.
  16. What does that have to do with DM having a better output then Mays???
  17. You know what i mean, ill spell it out, DM has done more for the Bears then Mays has done for the 49ers.
  18. I would say Dm did more for the team then Mays has, not at safety but in the ST department. But like i said JA has not been good with a lot of picks
  19. if he was so good would San Fran be giving up on him already??? he has done nothing. Im not saying JA has been good with 2nd rounders but you have to get production out of your 2nd round draft picks. You have to if you want to maintain a high level of play.
  20. you still would have wanted us to trade up to get him with him playing like crap in the NFL. I dont care how big or fast you are if you cant play the game it does not matter. I think Wright will pan out.
  21. I remember Terra wanting Taylor real bad on draft day, so question...do you still want him? are you glad we didnt make a play for him?
  22. So Harbitch has no say, I highly doubt he has no say. As highly sought after he was I doubt he has no control.
  23. So Harbitch has no say, I highly doubt he has no say. As highly sought after he was I doubt he has no control.
  24. Jim harbitch will not make a trade with the bears just to be a douche because of the bears raven trade mix up on draft day
