Here is a breakdown of the first string plays in the game.

Roquan Smith requests trade
He's their best defensive player we have. A lot of good players have egos, he at least shows up. Will is the most important spot on this scheme. He needs to get his head out of ass and sign. Trading him would not get his value back in return. I suspect he signs before the next game.

Preseason Game 2 CHI @ SEA
I don't remember hearing his name but the box score has him with some tackles.

Preseason Game 2 CHI @ SEA
I think if things don't play out for the OL, Schofield and Reiff. will start. Also Patrick is supposed to be back. So I think the line will be average at worst.

Plus the Bears had to travel, Seahawks were home. There are 4 or 5 teams out of the block look worst than the Bears. For people to still say , we are the worst team in the league is a joke.

I now have a conflict on Sept 1, its a live draft at 6. But with that live, I should be able to do both on a tablet. Plus one hour difference, it should be OK

Preseason Game 2 CHI @ SEA
I agree with most of your thoughts. As my concern over DTs, I think Coley makes the team. Definitely could add here. As the defense works, the main player is not here in Smith. Once he's here, I think the defense runs smoother. V Jones seen limited action but still showed his speed. Jenkins did fine in run plays but still needs to improve at pass blocking. Probably wins the starter spot as he gets up to speed. I like the play calling, once the starters play regularly, it will look better. Kmet showed he's in the game plan. I hope the Smith contract gets done this week, or he wont be ready when the season starts.

Preseason Game 2 CHI @ SEA
With Patrick and Kramer injured they are treading carefully with Mustifer. What I like the most is they are aggressive, play with an attitude and make plays. Its never perfect when you get to the second and third string, but they are still fighting.

Its interesting where we are talking about the OL being descent, when in the beginning of the season, everyone was condemning Poles . I think he might know what he's doing.

Packers Team Building
Rodgers will find someone to throw to. RBs will be seeing a lot more throws. Lizard and one more will step up. They will be focusing on running the ball a lot.

I just noticed that Jenkins has longer arms than Larry Borom, and I hear complaints that his arms are to short, but have never heard that negative about Borom. Braxton has 35 3/8, which is great for a OT. Jones has the proto type body for a LT. Quick and smart, the only downer is level of competition. He should have been drafted higher.

Whoever the best 5 are, that's who needs to start.

That guarantees Mustifer makes the roster. Read where Jenkins and Borom were running with the first team. If it ends up being Schofield and Reiff as backups, that would be a sold 7 bodies.

Roquan Smith requests trade
Bad teams wont be trading for him, only contenders. Seattle was paying Wagner 17 mil and didnt resign him, do you honestly think they are going to trade for Smith and then pay him 20 mil a yr. No Way

Roquan Smith requests trade
I meant that what ever yr he plays, we can tag him. If he sits out this yr, then we get the next two yrs with the tag.

Carter seems to be more liked than Thomas as far as playing time. Jenkins changes everything if permanently at RG. I think Robinson will just be a situational Pass rusher. Don't think he would last if went to practice squad. The online seems to be coming along. Potentially Jenkins and Boom as backups would make the line stronger as a group. What they do with Mustifer will be interesting when Patrick comes back.

Camp notes
Starters from this years class, B Jones, Brisker, Gordon, Gill, . Major contributors : V. Jones, Ebner, Robinson Potential future starters, Kramer, J. Carter, . Everyone will make roster or practice squad. UDFA that could make roster. Jack Sanborn and Chase Allen. This could turn out to be one of the best ever draft classes.

Brandon Thorn is a OL guru, rarely ever wrong. Praise is a good thing.

I have two leagues set for the 5 th and 6 th, so the schedule seems to be working out for me.

My biggest concern was with the DTs out of all positions. Jones, Tonga, Blackson will make the roster. That leaves one spot open. It will between Coley and Pennel, imo. This isn't A great group but I think they will be solid. I don't think we will be great with our run defense, but it could be good enough with our strengths at DE and speed LBs moving to the ball. DEs are a strength , Quinn, Gipson and Q Muhammad will be stout. Edwards is here, so he probably is the 4th play in. Robinson may force them to keep 5 which seems likely. Defense is going to surprise the League, with its chemistry and up tick in TOs.

Preseason Game 1 KC @ CHI
You cant get overly excited about preseason games, but a lot of young players showed some game. It seems the defense has an energy about them. The 7 to the ball and constant fight shows. Flus has changed defenses where ever he coached, and I think his mentality translates this defense into being very good. Brisker is a future all pro. I have no doubt about that. I was one of the bigger bitchers because of our first 2 picks, but both seem to be blue chip players. If you look at all the young players and Poles appears to be able to recognize talent. Coley was a two yr starter in Cleve when he first came in the league and has some game. We have a lot of competition on the field and it can only be a positive with our depth.

Preseason Game 1 KC @ CHI
I think Ebner put himself in line for more touches but I don't think he took over second place just yet. Sharpe will end up being our #3 WR , Newsome had some highlights to. Sanborn won't be starting unless Roquan holds out but definitely will get more playing time. Their not trading Quinn , Robinson has a long way to go , but makes the roster.Flus likes fresh players and will do alot of rotating . Coley has some game , definitely becomes a rotation player. Oline has lots of competition and potential. Jenkins wasn't bad and Braxton will end up starting . I liked the play calling , Getsy mixed the plays well. Everything didn't work but seemed to fine a rhythm to it.

Players I noticed. B. Jones, Ebner, Sharpe, Sanborn, Coley, Jenkins played decent .

I watched every play Jenkins played and he played well. Braxton looks good already. If he ends up starting, he was quite the 5th round pick.

Fields vs the other 2nd Yr QBs
As with any young player you look for progress. He will make mistakes and not look good but we will see more and more positive plays going forward. He fits the successful QB mode for the NFL. Great physically, mentally tough, hard worker, desire to be great. He is going to be a star. He has a Michael Jordon attitude but in football. He wants to be great. Nagy screwed everything up last year that made Fields not progress, now we have coaches that teach. That is why I think our team will win more than other people expect. He will actually step up and win some games for us. He will make other players better. As bad as the OL projection looked bad, it appears to be starting to show progress. The injures beside the WR has enough talent to help Fields do well. Mooney is going to be a star, his stats will show that. We added height and speed in the WR room and it will show. We will push the running game to start and the defense will be good and by the end of the year great. Provided Smith gets in camp.
