He wants 7 a yr and multiple years. Don't think the bears can do that. I think they like IFEDI enough to produce at guard to not sign anyone else.
-
I agree last year was a trainwreck, I think he got stubborn and forgot the run game. I think he is smart ( 2018 play calling) and will make neccessary changes. He's in a learning process also. The first year he made it simplier for MT went to the run game the last half of the season. I think the best thing he could do is give up play calling and be just a head coach.

I think I seen where Nagy stated that they were staying put. They changed them last because of Cowards newness. They wanted a vet next to Coward to help his placement. This yr there will be a new body there so they will deal with it the same way. Another thing was Daniels was having problems making line calls. A few yrs in this alignment probably means that won't change going forward. If your good, I don't see where it makes much difference. They both have flexibility for both positions. If IFEDI ends up being better than at OT we could have our IOL set for a few yrs, then Coward can go back to RT backup, Spriggs at LT and Bars flexible to play all the spots.

Just read on Twitter that we have cut off talks with Warford, I suspect to much money.
-
I think Nagy is smart and if he wouldn't have been stubborn with the run game last year, we would have had more wins. As much as new personnel will help, I think Nagys play calling will be huge to have a winning team this year.

How do I delete the other post? It popped up twice .

You can always pray Leno gets hurt. If that happens I actually think Bars gets the first shot. Unless Spriggs turns his career around, he is only worthy of a backup role.

The saints just cut pro bowl guard Larry Warford. He was making 7 mil a year. IFEDI is here on a 1 yr deal so he definitely an upgrade. Let IFEDI battle for RG or you can have him be the swing OT. You probably get Larry for 1 yr 4 mil? I also read the bears are talking to him.

That seems like a reach but you figure opposing teams are going to test him and with a badass pass rush, he will get many chances to make big plays. Also Gibson has good ball skills, he may be in for TOs. Also. They will scheme away from Fuller and EJAC. Both ILBs can cover , so it's going to be interesting how they attack us. We're going to be able to rush with 4 and underneath passing lanes are going to be clogged up .

There have been many below 6' that have been successful but usually weight over 200 consistantly. . The SS average is probably 6' 205.
-
I think the perspective of getting Gibson has to do with what we paid him. A decent player that we got at our price.

Your spot on with the QB projections.

Being in Thailand, I'm doing everything on my phone so copying and pasting is hard for me. Thanks for posting that.

I think they keep 15=3 RBs-5 TEs - 7 WRs. Patterson gets listed as a RB. Holtz as a TE/ FB. .the last WR spot will be between Wims and Jones. The last TE spot will between Horsted or Braunnecker. They may keep a 4th RB instead of 7 WRs of which may not be on the roster yet. Ginn and ARob and Miller in the slot will be our starting WRs.

The ideal situation would be if MT broke out and became the player he was drafted to be. Probably not going to happen.

I seen it on Twitter ,didn't check it myself.

I just noticed that after out last 3 signing we have 9.2 left. Over the Cap numbers, not mine.
-
I seen where Matt Bowen, former S that use to be on the score, said Gibson is a perfect compliment to EJac. I always respected his opinion. a smart guy.
-
If they go on the practice squad, we have the right to keep him provided we add him to the roster.
-
I prefer they under rate us. More reason to prove them wrong. Last year Patterson has 17 rushes, the year before in NE he had 47 for a 5.4 average. I think he is our #2 RB and will get 75 to 80 carries. With the easy way to get 5 mil back on the cap, they kept him. They did not draft or get one in FAgency. I think unless a cheap option pops up , he's our #2. Cohen is just a specialist and probably gets more reps as a WR.
-
If they have a winning record, I don't think either one is gone. They need to establish a running game and keep it part of every game plan. Average QB play gets us in the offense. We have to score TDs in the red this year instead of FGs. That's where the new TEs make a difference.
-
The cool thing about this defense is they will bring a pass rush with out adding extra rushers. 7 people jamming the receivers with less time to throw. The turn overs are coming back. As AZ stated by the end the year this group could be better than last year's group. That will be pretty to watch.

In Korea their baseball league starts May 4th. No fans for one month. There is always a way things can be done. By the time football starts everything will at going and will start adding fans shortly after.
-
The best case scenario is MT kicks ass and becomes the person his draft status projected. I think they run a lot 2 TE sets which, even though the TEs are good at blocking, they get in the way for pursuit angles and contrite some. I think this is the yr Smith breaks out and has a pro bowl performance. Just makes everyone else better on that defense.

I think we're in pretty good shape considering our financial situation and a limited draft. We added speed = 3 WRs , Kmet, Graham and Harris that makes the TE room better. A new QB, Patterson is going to be RB2 with Cohen the specialty back. One of the UDFAs may make the roster. The oline is still a question but they have new faces and holdovers that may take a step forward. Defense has depth at CB, S, OLB plus the front already did. Johnson, Quinn and Gibson may actually be better than who they replaced last yr. There were better options than players we picked up but with the money we had, Pace has did a good job. The only screw up was paying Graham to much. I think they got the best option at QB. In a bizzaro year, bringing in a QB that knows the system will be huge. Winston was never going to take the contract the first week of free agency that he took now. Dalton wasn't released yet and probably have more than Foles did with questions of is he better. Did not know the system. No one is touching Newton with his injury history. If Pace waited until now to make a Qb decision he would have been run out of town on a rail. He made the right decision. I think we still could bring in a OG and RB but I think that they won't until training camp starts and they can evaluate the team.
