I would love the first choices, I see Scooby Wright end up being the best LB drafted this year. His injury caused him to slide to the second round or he would be a top 15 pick. The slots fit right on your picks on everything I have read so far. Ragland is Alabama's defensive leader so we need someone to add leadership to our defense. We have so many needs, we could go many different directions. OL needs help, I think we need to get a starter at RG which we may be able to find with our 4th or 5th round picks. I think Grasu puts on some weight and adds strength where he will be ok at center going forward because he hasnt played well so far. I think we need to move Long to LT and just leave him there and Fabuluje ends up being our RT going forward. We still have a problem at S and hopefully grab a SS in Free Agency. If we end up getting one of the stud ILBers in Free Agency then my first round pick would fall to DeForest Buckner or Emmanuel Ogbah.

I agree with Jeffery and grabbing Berry, do not think they will go after a top flight LT. I think they go after someone to shore up the middle of the defense. Hopefully Danny Trevathan or Rolando McClain- maybe Michel Wilhoite. An offensive guard like a Alex Boone or Kelechi Osemele for the line. I think we spend some money on key spots beside Jeffery, like a top flight safety or ILB. So my desire acquisitions would be : resign Jeffrey Danny Trevathan Alex Boone because of the money Trevathan will cost we go after SS David Burton also from Denver who has played well on the best defense in the league. In the draft we address best player available probably a 5T DE or another inside LB. I also think we grab a LT and another OLB or CB early in the draft. I think we move on from Bennett and grab a TE in the middle rounds or maybe a free agent like DWayne Allen or even Coby Fleener.

I think a key thing we are missing here is Fox hires great coaches. When in Denver he had Del Rio and McCoy then Gase. I think if we lose them the possibility exists he adds good coaches . McCoy's head coaching job is in jeopardy in SD, so maybe we get him if Gase leaves. I think Fangio may be able to stay around, but I think Gase is gone for no other reason that there is so many jobs available no way someone doesn't steal him. As far as defense the main great find is Porter at 29 years old. He has a history that he can play good and if he stays healthy, can be a stud. Fuller has looked better probably because he is getting good play around him and it helps him moving forward. Callahan has played well be we need to see more tape for a consistency factor. Amos has the potential to be a future pro bowl type but we need to see more games going forward. Goldman could be a 10 starter, Jenkins can be a future rotational guy and possibly Gaston. LBers is where we will need the most help in the draft. If we can draft a stud LB and get another potential starter, our defense could have a bright future. So as far as the draft goes for the defense we need another DE, a couple of LBers, and another safety we will be on the way to a good defense. Offensively we need to resign Jeffery, add a couple of OLineman. Anybody know much about Paxton Lynch? He could be a 3rd addition to our future Qb position. I have heard some good things about him.

I think we need to lock up Gase, give him a assistant head coaching title and lots of money. Promise him their the job.
-
I think we have our RB of the future, resign jeffery and load up on offense lineman and we will have something
-
I know this roster is short on talent, but those coaches sure get the max out of marginal players.
-
This is one of the top Ds in the league, and Gase it tearing them up
-
Cutler is turning into a franchise QB, for all you Culter haters, watch the games

Its going to be more of the same, we will look good at some points. The end of the game, the defense will not make enough plays to stop a late rally by SD. I like much that I see, but the biggest thing we are missing is a couple of playmakers on defense. Until that changes, life will be a roller coaster.
-
Our coaching is our strength, but we lack talent. If we had one playmaker on defense at each level we would be winning. A top notch safety, a stud in the middle and one difference maker up front. McPhee has been good but you add a few more playmakers and we start to roll. It will take one more draft, maybe two. Goldman could end up being a really good player, but who else gives you that impression? on defense
-
I can see that happening, but ifGase gets an offer next year, Fox wont be turning over the reins until he sees success. Maybe 3 years from now, if that is the end of his contract.Gase will be long gone.

Forte is better than average, but given him 4 year contract is stupid. When were good in a couple of years he will be falling off the edge. We need to inject youth on this team, not hang on to old memories. Now it your talking about a 3 year 10mil, that wont break us and he still has a couple of years before he's done.

Bernstein is a whiny little bitch, but to be honest I listen to B and B, they have good information and add a lot of humor to my day. I listen to the SCORE a lot of the day, just into sports that much and like most of there hosts. -
We dont have any quality DBs , fact of life.
-
They havent played well against a desperate team in there house, I all in on giving cudos for coming back to tie it.
-
Keep in mind as much as we are improved, we still are 28th in scoring defense, with not a lot of turnovers, but its a vast improvement especially with so many injuries. ITs amazing what Fangio has done.
-
I totally agree, it will be a big day for forte, and the injured players will just kinda be decoys for Wilson and Bennett.
-
We get to this point where we have increased enthusiasm, and do we get a kick in the sack with a loss to the lowly Lions? I think not, Im refilling my half glass full. If injuries dont derail us, we have a huge arrow pointing up.
-
We need too acquire young guys to develop, not one year and out types. They aint playing him because his skills have gone away
-
I give Jay credit when he plays well and make it a point to criticize when bad. I only care about now, who cares, if his past is shitty, he has had moments before, but is playing well now, so lets live in the moment, nobody is saying we should give a him contract extension. You dont have to like him, he won the game for us today. Would you rather have he screw up so we lose a game so your point he isnt any good fits better? Rout for the bears, get off the Im right crap.
-
They talk about him doing well in PP but not as good at run blocking but that is something you can be taught to bet better at. We have so many backups playing ,were bound to have a few look better. Its all good for the future.
-
way cool, we may not be very talented but they play their ass off
-
you have to say Jay was the best player on the field today

this aint over yet, hoping
