Lets say Beasley and Cooper are on the board at 7, who do you pick? I think Cooper will be an elite player, not sure about Beasley.
-
If Young and Allen play our defense ends, our rush defense will look as bad as last year. 251 and 270 do not fit Fangio's 3-4 . He lists his three spots as LDT-NT-RDT . The purpose of the ends is to take on blockers and be strong against the run. Your off base with you opinion on this. Fox stated Young,Allen and Houston will be OLBs. I dont think he's trying to fool anybody.,
-
I think Houston will end up at end, but the others have OLB bodies. I suspect in rush defense, Allen might play end. With the new guys, I say we have 3 with Houston who they said was an OLB. Last year I read where he played at 265, so depending on what they want out of him, will determine his weight. I would say we need 2 more, unless they think one of those others actually can play end.
-
He's OK but is just a guy, there will still probably use a pick on one after round 4. Nobody special, but can catch the ball for sure.
-
One spot we are short on players is DE and we need to address that position in the draft more than once in 6th, otherwise like the names. I joined the Fanspeak and its lots of fun, which big board do you use? I have been using MattMiller

I agree, you take the BPA and that probably will be one of the two WRs. You dont bank on Wilson to take off when a stud WR can add so much.
-
Bringing in other WRs isnt giving up on Wilson, its all competition. So you would rather have a project that a all pro type WR if it works that way? It you can get a high level QB at 7 then you have to take that. (they wont be there or do I believe they are any in the draft) So for me its a high level pass rusher or all pro type WR. I would be happy with either.

get AZ54 involved with this , a smart man, make him take the Bears

here is a draft I did with trades on On the Clock( Parker has did this several times) traded down twice in the first round and once in the second to get this many picks 17 - R1P17 CB MARCUS PETERS/WASHINGTON 46 - R2P14 OT ANDRUS PEAT/STANFORD 47 - R2P15 DT CARL DAVIS/IOWA 71 - R3P7 RB TEVIN COLEMAN/INDIANA 106 - R4P7 WR SAMMIE COATES/AUBURN 114 - R4P15 DT MARCUS HARDISON/ARIZONA STATE 117 - R4P18 CB ERIC ROWE/UTAH 126 - R4P27 TE JEFF HEUERMAN/OHIO STATE 142 - R5P6 QB SEAN MANNION/OREGON STATE 151 - R5P15 S CODY PREWITT/OLE MISS 183 - R6P7 WR KENNY BELL/NEBRASKA 190 - R6P14 C MAX GARCIA/FLORIDA 192 - R6P16 ILB BRYCE HAGER/BAYLOR It seem unrealistic on some of the 2nd picks being available, but took BPA until the 5th round and then pick need selections. Davis and Hardision fits both can play DE/DT Rowe can play either spot S/CB I dont like Coates that much but was way to much valve at the spot I picked him.
-
50% of the first round doesnt pan out, but if someone drops you may have a gem. Its player analyze, hopefully Pace is good at it.
-
Ill take the NFC south division, if nobody haves them. Since someone has NO, I will throw in PHilly
-
It will all come down to if our FAs this year turn out to be better players. Then there will be a big difference.
-
I like Agholor, having been reading up on him. Rowe and Shaw can play both positions so where ever Fangio thinks they fit best would be good.
-
Just read an article by Micheal wright that mentioned the Bears are considering moving Long to OT instead of waiting. Means they may be looking at OG with a draft pick instead of OT. Also , I have read several people mention Collins is not good in coverage. In 2 years he has 13 pds and 5 int, which probable puts him in a medium spot for those stats.
-
Time will tell how everything turns out, but have higher hopes this year, because I can absolutely tell we have better coaches. (track record) Last year could end up being a good draft, it will take another year to judge that.
-
I like that draft a lot except for Collins, I dont think he is going to be a special player to be drafting that high. He might be the best safety, but dont think he will be a all pro type and that is what that pick should be. I would love the rest of the draft. Dont know if Dupree was available but would take him instead of Collins. here is a review of Collins: http://nflmocks.com/2015/03/27/landon-coll...uting-report-2/

Young was a good player last year, but hanging your hat on Bellamy is quite (not going to happen) a bad choice.
-
I think he will end up at DE. He will add flexibility to the D with the ability to bounce to OLB.
-
We need two DLs,one S,one CB, we can get by with all the other positions.(you cant fix everything in one offseason.
-
I would address those positions also, but do like the thought of 10 picks
-
Bring him in, if there is a problem of him not being on the field our fall back can be Garza.
-
Whiz take a look at rumors I linked a mock draft that traded back and ended up with 10 picks.
-
The good thing is at #7 we will have a stud, whoever it is, and if Pace knows what he is doing, we may add 3 or 4 starters this year.
-
He had a surgery after the season, shoulder I think?
-
I would be good with that draft, think they will still bring in some more FAs on defense.
