We would be trading an NFL starting QB and a 7th for the chance to pick Mariota? No way in hell do they do that. Even if Pace doesnt like Cutler, our high pick this year needs to be a start day one stud not a maybe in 3 or 4 years be a star.

Other the the two QBs(who I dont believe will ever be difference makers) pass rush and and outstanding WR are the two most impactful positions that will be available with valve at that pick. So our pick will be from Cooper or White/WRS or Beasley or Fowler/OLB I dont think Williams will drop so those are our choices. If we drop back a few picks some other choices fall into the picture.

I love that pic Jason, you took the best player on the board. Falcons need a pass rush and Randy Gregory is there guy. He has the frame to put on weight, and even with his flaws could be dynamic. Adam is up next with his Giants I actually put Beasley first, notice is gone.

I absolutely agree with your opinion. I keep trying to make the case for other names but come back to the same conclusion that you do. I am, a move and down and get extra picks mode, but truth be told, staying at 7 and getting one of those names is probably the better choice. They could easily be all gone, so that is when I move down.

I think it puts us in the position to trade down if he drops to 7. Pace is so quiet on his moves , its hard to say exactly what he thinks of him.

If we go by that philosophy, our first 4 picks should be two OL ad two DL and build up the lines. I actually would have no problem with that even thou Im all in on Cooper and White. Something like Shelton/NT-AJ Cann/OG-Harry Anderson/DE-Grasu/OC

I think they have a few more to add but it will vet mins. anything they have left over from this year they can roll over to next year. They will also be draft free agents to add to the pile.

I agree with that, a good OL makes all aspects of offense better.
